When growing up in a family with demonic blood it was considered normal to be told The Tale of Higurashi, so when it's brought up no one is really offended by it. As children of these family grew up the story was seared into their memories so when it was time to tell another generation they would remember every detail. Problem was what was mentioned at the end was never really proven to be real, so many hold doubts to the end of the story. Some on the other hand believed it true and built a building that could protect half-breed demons. This is where the many will live and grow to become friends with everyone. They will be sent on life changing missions as well.
As time ticks by with the sound of silence. A group of friends that reside in this half-demon haven are in the dinner hall, or as it's more likely put the lounge area. It was considered silent because the three that were there were waiting for the rest to arrive so that the eerie feeling they were getting would go away. As the elevator opened and closed the rest of the building inhabitants were awake and eating their breakfast.
"So why is everyone so quiet?" A small girl with dark purple hair and vibrant dark purple eyes tried to break the silence, but the three tried to make sure everyone was as silent as possible. Right as the girl went to speak again the main door opened and a boy walked in and sat down exhausted.
"How was your job Maro?" A woman with dirty blonde hair and ice blue eyes spoke out. She was standing as were a few others indicating they were secret service.
"How do you think. They don't know how to do anything!" The boy deemed Maro gave an exasperated sigh and put his head on the table.
"That bad huh" a man with brown hair, that was tied back, and brown eyes, had a tattoo over the left eye, spoke with chopsticks still in his mouth.
"You have no idea. Anyway why are you all so quiet?" Maro folded his arm on the table and then layed his head down on them.
"The chief ask us to be" a monochrome voice came from a girl with salmon-pink hair, tied back into twin ponytails, and eyes that were the same color.
"Oh Roromiya spoke finally" the man with the eye tattoo spoke again. The woman with ice blue eyes hit him on his arm with a glare.
"Don't make fun of her Renshou. It's not her fault for being afraid of the chief" the woman clung onto the girl named Roromiya.
"I don't think it's the chief she's afraid of Nobara" the man named Renshou looked away so The woman named Nobara wouldn't give him a weird look.
"Then what do you think it is. You weren't exactly speaking either." Nobara let Roromiya go and put her hands on her hips and bent down to his level.
"Well maybe there was a reason" he shot a glare to her which shocked everyone even him. "That was not me I swear!" He yelled to Nobara hoping to convey what he meant, but she just backed up and leaned up strait with a hurt look on her face. "Nobara I didn't mean..."
"I got what you meant" Nobara walked away while looking back and then saw something and stopped catching everyone's attention. "Who's that?" Everyone followed her gaze to a girl with dark black hair who had her head tilted down and was tied by dragon ropes so she wouldn't move.
"The reason we were quiet..." Renshou looked scared to see the girl and moved a little farther away just like Roromiya. Maro got curious and stood up catching their attention. He walked over and squatted down a few feet in front of her. Renshou was scared that he was that close and changed to go get the chief, but he was instantly changed back making everyone look back at the girl.
"That's an interesting way to make someone stay" Maro moved a bit closer and stopped only a few inches away. He was confused when he heard growling so he leaned closer to listen and ended up jumping back when she went to bite.
