~ Eren's pov~
It was a Monday morning, 6:00 am to be exact. I had to be at work in an hour. The ring from my alarm clock rang through out my apartment. I hit dismiss, roll out of bed with a groan and head to the bathroom for a nice, warm shower. After becoming fully awake, I step out of the shower, brush my teeth and walk to my closet. I put on burgundy long sleeve, black jeans, black slip on vans and a black hoodie. I then head out of my apartment after locking the front door to work. I live a block away so I can just walk there.I took the elevator down to the lobby and was shorty outside and started the short walk to work. After about 10 minutes I get to work and unlocked the front doors. I own the place, switching the open sign on. I set up my work staition by sanitizing the tattoo machine, needles and preparing the tattoo chair by wiping it down with an Lysol wipes. I walked into to the main room and turned on the lights and the light boxes near the back. I sat at my station on my phone till i heard the door open, it was one of my employees, Jean. He walked to his chair with no sound other than a brief 'good morning'. He walked out to the lobby to sit in a chair just opposite me. Jean shoots me a smile.
"Hey Eren. How are you this morning."
I glance up at him with a smile in return "Hey, I'm here."
I have a small chuckle.
"Would you mind running and getting us some coffee?"
Jean nodded his head
"Not at all. That coffee place down and around the block?"
I nodded my head
"Yeah!"
I get my wallet from my purse and give Jean the money for our coffees. Before Jean left my final employee shows up, late as usual. Connie tried to slip past me, but I already saw him.
"Connie, if you're late again it's your job."
I said firmly. Connie nodded
"I'm sorry Eren."
I nodded
"It's okay. Don't let it happen again. Now go set up your work station please."
After about 20 minutes later Jean walked back into the shop with our coffees. He slowly walked over to me and handed me my coffee and my change
"Thank you Jean."
He nodded and walked to his work station and started sipping on his coffee. I turned my attention back to my phone and try to prepare myself for the work day ahead of me. I had 4 appointments, not that I want to complain but they're all about 4 hours each. I just know my back is going to kill me at the end of the day.
