A/N: this is the first story I've posted for people to see so it could be really bad, but it could also be good. I'm really nervous about this but I'm also excited. Without further delay, here ya go.

Hiro's POV
Hi. My name is Hiro Dannel. I've lived in Japan till I was 15. Thing is, I'm only half Japanese. My father is an American who move to Japan. He went to Japan for a business trip and fell in love with the culture. About a month or two after he moved, he met my mother on a blind date that his friend set him up on. It went really well (obviously). Recently, my dad lost his job in Japan and went back to America to see if he could have his old job back. He couldn't get the same position but he was able to work for the same company. I was sad that I would be leaving all my friends but I was slightly excited to find out who I would meet when I would start school. While I was still in Japan, my dad taught me english so I knew the language well. We are taking all our furniture with us so our new house has a Japanese feel to it so we didn't feel so far from home. I was hoping that my school wouldn't have uniforms but sadly they did. I didn't start school yet but I went to go check it out, and receive my uniform. I would start school and my new life a few days later.

Meggan's POV
I woke up on Wednesday at the same time I always do. I put on the same uniform, ate the same breakfast and took the same route to school. Everything seemed the same as every other boring week day, only this time, There was a new student in my class. Hiro Dannel. He's half Japanese with minty blue hair like toothpaste that went down to just above his hips. Black eyes, pale skin and freckles. To me, he didn't look Japanese.

I walked into the classroom seeing just what I would expect, a few smiles and some looks of boredom. But one girl stood out. She was wearing a boy's uniform. She had red dyed hair that went just passed her shoulders and deep blue eyes. With out taking the look on her face into account, I thought we could be friends. My seat was on the other side of the class so I didn't have a chance to talk to her. The next time I saw her was lunch. She was sitting alone with a girl who had the same blue eyes, light green glasses, and strawberry blonde hair tied up with two white ribbons. I started walking to the table but then someone stopped me.
"Trust me, you don't want to sit over there. Come over and sit with me and my friends." I looked back at the two girls once more then said
"Um, ok". I followed him to a table full of people who couldn't wait to meet me. After they asked questions about me, I stared asking questions about her.
"Is it ok if I ask who that girl is?" When I pointe her out, they all started to stare at each other nervously. Then someone spoke up.
"Her name is Meggan Anderson and the girl next to her is her sister Kattie. Meggan is overprotective of Kattie and she is one of the mots feared people at this school. A few teachers are even afraid of her. No one knows much about her or her sister"

Meggan's POV
It was obvious they were talking about me. It's not like they could tell him much, if not, anything. Nobody knows anything about us.
"So I've noticed you can't stop staring at that cute new kid."
"What! Kattie what the hell are you talking about? Do you even hear yourself?" She laughed at me.
"Well if you ask me, I'd say you like him. About time you get yourself your first boyfriend. Mom and dad would think so to. Can't wait to tell uncle Jerry."
"Don't you tell them anything! Wait, why uncle Jerry?"
"We bet on your sexuality" she said rather nonchalantly.
"You guys thought I was a lesbian?!"
"Not me. Just him. Now I get $50."
"50$! Whatever. I am straight but I don't like him." The rest of the day at school, whenever we saw each other, we made eye contact. He would happily smile at me and I would glair at him, wanting him to back off. At the end of the day, my sister was eager to get home.
"Common common common! Get on your bike!" Once I was on the seat and had gotten my helmet on, she zoomed off.
"Hey! Wait for me!" We rushed home. Once we got there, we jumped off our bikes, leaving them in the yard. Kattie ran right into the living room and I followed close behind.
"Meggan has a crush!"
"Kattie bet on my sexuality with uncle Jerry!"
"Well it's about time." Julie said. She is my step mother. "I thought you would turn into one of those crazy cat ladies"
"And I thought he was a lesbian" my dad added.
"You and uncle Jerry. Just. Oh my god."
"Well what do you expect from twins?" He said laughing.
"All the twins I've met hate each other." I didn't want to hear any more so I started to head to my room but Julie stop me.
"Hold on now. Don't you try to weasel your way out of helping your father." I paused, thinking for a second on what I needed to help dad with. Then it hit me. The family reunion was being held this upcoming weekend. My my family owns lots of land and near the back of our huge yard is a big wooden stage made from scratch by my father, and his brother and cousins. Since I turned 13, I would always go out with him a few days before the reunion to check and see if repairs need to be done. After that, we borrow sound equipment from one of  Julie's friends. Stuff like microphones and stereos. My dads family, including my sister and I, have all been blessed with the gift of a beautiful singing voice. Or at least that's how my dad says it. I just say we all can sing well. So every year we set up the stage to sing. No one in the family is afraid to show off their talent, except me. I'm really shy about that but if it's just my family I'm fine.
"Don't tell me you forgot. You never forget. Is that boy taking up all the space in your mind?"
"Wha-NO!" Julie started laughing as I walked, slightly pissed, to the back door. "Come on dad"

Hiro's POV
"I'm home."
"Welcome home Hiro. How was your first day of school?" My mother asked as she hugged me like she always does when I come home.
"Good. I made a lot of new friends, but there was this one girl who seemed kinda distant. I thought we would get along but she didn't want anything to do with me. Actually, from what I heard, she doesn't want anything to do with anyone except her sister. I hear that people are even scared of her."
"Did you try to talk to her sister?" My father asked as he walked in the room.
"No. I never got the chance to, but I wish I had. She looks so innocent and cute. And if you didn't know it, you would have no ideas they were related just by looking at them."
"Maybe you should try talking to her sister" my mother said. "Maybe if you get to know one, you'll get to know the other."
"Maybe."
                            *******
The next day at school, to my surprise, the girl with the strawberry blonde hair was alone. I quickly ran to catch up and talk to her.
"Hello!" I said cheerfully. She jumped a little.
"U-um...hi...why are you talking to me? Wait, are you the new kid?"
"Yup! So why are you alone today?"
"My sister is sick. Look you shouldn't be hanging around me, ok? My sister is going to beat the crap out of you."
"But your sister isn't here."
"Well yeah but." Se sighed. "When she can't look after me, the next day she demands other students to tell her what went on, and right now, I'm sure everyone is starring." I looked around and sure enough, people were staring. I turned back to her
"Oh well. I don't care."
She looked up at me in disbelief, then then tilted her head down slightly.
"Fine, your funeral."
