Three Little Words

Chapter 2

A/N: I just want to describe new characters for later in this chapter so I don't have to interrupt the story to do it.
Elizabeth: has really pale skin, wears mainly black,white, and gray cloths and bondage pants and wears platform shoes to look taller. Has purple, blue and white short hair and hazel eyes.
Genevieve: has long white hair w/green bangs. Wears mainly tank tops, skirts and flats. Rather tan w/ brown eyes.
Kameryn: black w/ hair that goes down to the midsection of her back. Wears mainly tube tops w/ light denim jackets, shorts and ankle high boots.
Wow that is longer than I thought it would be. And without further delay, here ya go.

Hiro's POV

We talked as I walked her to her first class and exchanged smiles as we walked passed each other in the hallway. We couldn't wait to see each other at lunch. When I saw her she motioned for me to sit with her. We sat alone next to each other like her and her sister had when I saw them. Everyone else looked over at us from time to time. In the middle of lunch, she asked me something surprising.
"I-is it ok if I call you senpai?" I blushed. Even when I was in Japan I wasn't anyone's senpai. "I-it's just, I watch a lot of anime and based on context I thought it would be appropriate for me to call you that."I sat silent for a second then before I could say anything she panicked. "U-um unless that's wrong or you don't  want to be called that!"
"No no. That's ok. If you wanna call me that then go right ahead." Her face brightened up
"Alright, I will senpai." She was so cute! Not cute like I'm attracted to her, but like a little kitten. At the end of the day, I asked if I could walk her home or if she needed a ride.
"No. Even though I live kinda far from the school, I ride my bike to get there...thanks."
"For what?"
"For being my friend despite what would happen. Wanna stop by my house tomorrow after school?"
"What for?"
"I just feel like I need to do more than say thanks. Got a sweet tooth?"
"Y-Yeah but-"
"Ok, Cool, See ya tomorrow! Bye!" Then she zoomed off on her bike. She didn't have to do anything for me, but she went so fast that I couldn't tell her that she didn't have to. Well her sister is sick at home today. I can't wait to see her tomorrow. She's such a good person.

Kattie's POV
I walked into the the house and found Genevieve making a pot of tea. Meggan and I love tea and she knew I would get home around that time.
"Hey little Piglet. How was school today?" I knew what she meant. She wanted to know if I had a safe day.
"It was just like every other day. Only  difference was that I was alone"
She sighed then placed a hand on her hip.
"If so, then why lie to me? You know better Kattie."
I froze. She didn't call me Piglet. She's right, I do know better.
"You gonna stand there all silent or are you gonna tell me what really happened today?"
Feeling bad that I lied, I spun around and without thinking, started talking fast.
" I'm sorry! The new kid, Hiro came up to me and started talking to me and I started talking to him and it was really fun and—"
"Whoa whoa whoa! A boy?!" My face turned red
"U-um yes. B-but no!"
"You sure?"
"Yes!"
"Is he cute?"
"...maybe..." We stood there silent for a minute.
"Fine, but if he breaks your heart, I'll have to have a 'talk' with him" she said putting a tray of tea and cookies together.
"But we aren't dating!"
"You don't have to be dating to break someone's heart." After that, I followed up to Meghan's room. As we got closer to her room, I could hear her ranting to Elizabeth and Kameryn.
"And he's always smiling. There's no way that his life is so perfect that he has nothing to do but smile. I swear, if that sketchy guy does anything to my sister, I'll have to break some bones."
"Do you want me to drive you two to school tomorrow?" I heard Kameryn say. "I could give him a little scare if need be."
"No need. I'll just make sure nothing happens tomorrow." Then Genevieve opened the door and we walked in.
"Hey Kattie. And thanks for making the tea Genni."
"No problem. I made enough for you and Kattie. I knew she would want some." She then poured me and Meggan a cup.
"So how was school today?" Meggan asked. "Did anyone talk to you?"
"No. It was just like a normal day. Only difference was that you weren't there with me."
"Ya know what?" Genevieve said, "I need help with something downstairs. Piglet, come help me."
"Oh, ok sure" before I could stand up on my own, she pulled me up by my arm and dragged me downstairs.
"What's wrong?" I asked surprised.
"You lie to me? No problem. I don't care. I can tell when your lying."
"You can tell when anyone is lying."
"BUT! Why would you lie to your sister?"
"Well I didn't want to get Hiro in trouble"
"But you've  never lied to Meggan befor."
"...But..." I couldn't think of anything to say back. It's true. I hve never once lied to Meggan before. I started to feel really guilty. Genevieve sighed and walked over to hug me.
"We all spoil you too much. I should still be mad but I just can't stay mad at you. You really wanna be friends that bad?" I nodded. "Well then How about this, when you two want to hang out, tell Meggan that your going to my house. If she thinks your going to visit me, she won't ask why."
"Or how about I make sure they don't talk to each other again." We turned to the stairs. Meggan was at the bottom of the stairs and she looked furious. I stood there frozen, but mentally, I was panicking. I can't even imagine how angry she is right now.
