Hello everyone! I am writing this story for the Just Write It (fall) contest! This is a Marauders AU about Lily and the Marauders living together for college. I will be taking a short break from My Heart's Titanium to work on this and when this contest is over I will be starting to write up MHT again! Hope you enjoy!
3rd Person
As Lily Evans bid a tearful goodbye to her wonderful High School, Tribeca Prep, she grabbed her boyfriend James Potter's hand and went out the front doors of the school, never to step into the building again.
Outside waiting for them was the rest of the Marauders. They all had nicknames, very clever if you ask Lily (note the sarcasm.)
{James is Prongs because of that one time when he was a tad bit drunk, back in sophomore year ( they drink a little to early), he threatened some juniors with a three-pronged stick and said, "Listen up, boys. I got some prongs and I'm not afraid to use 'um!"
Sirius is Padfoot because his favorite animal is a dog and he always says he wants to be one.
Remus is Moony because that one time when he mooned the cops right before they ran away, lets just say those cops quit their jobs right after that.
Peter is Wormtail because of his mouse like features and how he always squeaks like a rat.}
As they all piled into Remus' Ford Edge on the way to their new apartment, they talked about the good old times of early high school years in reminisce. The whole hour trip was filed with talking and laughing and in Sirius' case some happily laughing tears.
Lily stared out the window as their college came into focus, sad to leave high school behind but ready to start a whole new chapter in her and the boys' life's.
