Chapter I
An Unexpected Occurrence
"Wait up, Palidor!" A certain Blood Elf giggled as she ran after her younger brother, a now handsome young paladin. "I'm buying you lunch if you can catch up with me!" The cheeky boy teased as he turned back to stick his tongue out at his older sister by 3 months. They were both turning 16 now and still acted as little children would.
Introductory
Although they were very close siblings, they looked nothing alike. Palidor had short dark blond hair with a few streaks of red highlights here and there. He was tall, almost 6'5 and had just the right amount of muscles - not too little that he'll look sloppy and not so much to look disgusting.
His sister, on the other hand, had light platinum blond hair, almost white, and the red highlights were the only thing that kept them from differing. Unlike her brother, she was small in size and short, only touching 5'3. Her body wasn't skinny as those village women and she had the womanly curves men would want their wives to have.
Although being younger, Palidor always acted like the older brother, taking care of his beloved sister and always putting up with her lame jokes and childish acts. The two siblings only had each other, and that only made their bond with one another stronger.
When they were younger, both their parents had died when their old house was set on fire during the last Alfheim War. It all started when a wretched Night Elf started up a fight with an innocent Blood Elf whom was simply drunk at a bar. And after that fateful day, hell began and the country of Alfheim fell to shreds.
But that was 10 years ago. History. The war ended after 5 long years of fighting and bloodshed. The city of the Blood Elves managed to be rebuilded but in the dark realm of where the Night Elves dwelled, nothing had changed. The city still stood demolished and untouched as when the war broke out.
The Blood Elves grew to detest Night Elves and stayed away from them. Some would even resolve to killing them if seen. Palidor and his sister had watched their house burn down together with their parents before their own eyes and since then had trained hard to become great fighters. Palidor chose the path of a paladin, the fearless warrior while the older sibling joined the mystical magicians.

"I'm exhausted now, Palidor! Please stop!" The small elf panted as she rested her weight onto both of her knees, hunching over. The paladin stopped in his tracks and turned around to walk towards his sister, smiling and panting at the same time, "About time you gave up, Arcana."
Arcana looked up for a split second to glare at the amused boy before bowing her head again. Palidor leaned down to grab his sister's tiny hands and pulled her up. "Thank you." She smiled sweetly at him. He returned her smile with a strikingly charming one of his own. "You must be quite the ladiesman." Arcana teased.
"Of course." Palidor looked up, basking in pride. "Come on, let's go home, little bro." The female elf giggled cutely. "Don't call me that, OLD LADY." Palidor shot back at her, annoyed and with a disappointed look. Arcana just smiled and nodded. Just as they turned to walk home, the sound of flapping wings and the neighs of an Alkonost filled the air.
The two horrified elves looked up at the sky. Palidor unsheathed his large sword while Arcana wielded her majestic staff in front of her. "What was that?" Arcana whispered to her brother. "I have no idea. Just keep your eyes wide open." He whispered back coarsely. She could hear fear dripping from his voice.
The noises seemed to have passed by them. Palidor let out a sigh of relief and dropped his sword. Just as he did that, a hooded figure dropped from a tall oak tree and landed right on top of him. "PALIDOR!" Arcana screamed, just as shocked as her brother. The paladin's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates as he struggled to get away from the person.
His sword lay a few feet away from his grasp on the ground. The hooded figure said nothing and out of the blue punched Palidor on the side of his head in incredible speed. The paladin's eyes rolled to the back of his head as he grew unconscious. "BROTHER!" Arcana gasped as she casted a spell, sending a balls of angry flames towards the person.
It got off her brother and spun around coolly, swiftly flicking the flame balls away before they could reach it. "You will not get away with this!" The terrified elf stuttered as she flung more flame balls towards it. It simply dodged them and began to walk towards her.
"Oh, really?" It said in a low, rough voice. Arcana stood frozen with her mouth gaping open. His voice sounded like that of a young man, low and, she had to admit, sexy. She could hear him smirk as he pulled the hood off his head and she braced herself for what was going to appear before her eyes.
The ragged hood slipped off gracefully, revealing a flawless young man. His dark blue hair was short and messy and his face showed strong features. He was tall - even taller than her brother. He looked to be almost 7 feet. Arcana felt midgeted and defenseless. She knew very well that she did not stand a chance against this mysterious man.
"W-What to do you want?" She demanded with the fiercest voice she could make out. The man chuckled and as he got closer, the elf almost fell over. Now, she could see the colour of his eyes, a deep dark red and knew instantly that he was a NIGHT ELF. "A NIGHT ELF! What are you doing in enemy territory?" She added.
"I'm here for some," He licked his lips, crimson eyes burning into Arcana's clear blue ones, "Business." "What business would you possibly have here?" She cried out defensively while moving backwards, away from him, "If you come any closer, I will kill you, I swear. You alone will not be able to defeat me!" She held her staff in front of her, creating a thin protective barrier.
"Oh, but who said I was alone?" He evilly smirked. Arcana's jaw dropped and before she could act, six other hooded figures dropped from the trees all around her. She squealed and tried to escape, but was surrounded in all directions. 'Damn, I should've ran off earlier,' she cursed to herself but then turned to look at her brother lying unconscious on the forest floor, 'But Palidor...'
As she was so engrossed in her thoughts, two of the hooded figures grabbed her arms from behind and kept the struggling little elf from escaping. The revealed man walked towards her with the lusty smirk still etched on his face. "Well, well, you're quite pretty yourself. Heh." He cooed. "W-What do you want?" She spat in hate, "Why did you come here for?"
He slightly raised an eyebrow at the captured elf before smirking and leaned down in front of her to whisper into her ear, "You."
