Imagine...
It's 6:30 in the morning, and you wake up to your friend blowing up your phone with an insane amount of texts. And she's called you 4 times already. You are about to check your texts when you hear King For A Day playing.
"Stupid bitch" You mutter, answering your friend's call. "Hello?" You ask groggily.
"OH MY GOD!!! WHY THE FUCK HAVEN'T YOU ANSWERED ME YET!!! I'VE BEEN CALLING AND TEXTING YOU FOR THE PAST HOUR!!!" She screams into the phone. You have to hold the phone away from your head in order to protect your eardrums from being blown out.
"I was asleep. Like you should be." you respond.
"HOW CAN I SLEEP WHEN I HAVE THE GREATEST SURPRISE FOR YOU EVER!!! MEET ME OUTSIDE IN 15!!!"
You groan. The last "greatest surprise ever" was a party full of screaming little kids. Which she had to guilt you into not leaving because it was her cousin's birthday. Talk about an assault to your ears.
"Believe me! You're going to love it!!!" she gushed.
"Yeah yeah yeah." you mutter. "See you in a minute...I guess" You get up and get dressed in your favorite outfit
You still have a few minutes to go, so you run in the bathroom to quickly brush your teeth so you don't kill people with your horrid morning breath. You then continue out the front door of your house, notcing that it's still dark outside. Your friend pulls up in front of your house and shouts "Get in loser we're going shopping!!!"
You roll your eyes and get in the car. "So where are we going?"
"GUESS!!!"
"Please tell me it's not another birthday party." You groan.
"Nope"
"Then what is it this time?" you question.
"GUESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!" she screams.
"I give up." You respond, too tired to actually think at the moment.
Your friend huffs. "Fine. But I'm not gonna tell you." She sticks out her tongue at you. You reach over and turn on the radio finding Collide with the Sky already in. You sit back and close your eyes as May These Noises Startle You In Your Sleep begins.
When you open them again you see that the sun is up. You check the clock to see that it says 9:47. "Where are we going?" You ask your friend. Why did she drive so far?
"Here." she responds pulling into the parking lot of a crowded looking FYE.
You step out of the car. "Whats going on?" Thats when you notice the sign in the window. Your amazing friend brought you to a Pierce The Veil signing "Oh. My. GOD! PIERCE THE VEIL IS HERE!!!!!!!!" You grin at your best friend and then rush to the door.
The two of you quickly go to the end of the line, which is surprisingly short for a Pierce The Veil signing, but still fairly long. You can't help but notice as time goes by that Vic has been sneaking glances in your general direction since you stepped in.
Your friend hands you a plain white t-shirt as you near the front of the line. "So you have something for them to sign." She whispers. You nod in appreciation. The grin has not left your face sincec you got out of the car.
The last person in front of you leaves and you step up to the table. You don't know what to say to them, so you had them the shirt, which they sign gladly. Vic is the last one to sign it. He had you the shirt and a slip of paper. You read the paper as you're walking away.
It has a number on it, and underneath it says.
"Call me sometime ;)"
You blush and look back at Vic who winks at you and then continues signing some other fan's CD.
