FLASHBACK : *Emily's POV*
Its my birthday!! Im turning 8!!! I got up and started jumping on the bed. Then my daddy came in.
"There goes my little birthday princess" he says.
"Daddy daddy daddy swing me around pwease" i said to him ready to jump into his arms
. "Okay but you cant tell your mom. She'll get very very angry with me" he says while hitting my nose.
"Okay daddy" i said and jumped into his arms. He swang me around. He put me like superman.
"HAVE NO FEAR PRINCESS EMILY IS HERE!" he said then put me down on my bed and started tickling me. We both laughed really hard.
"Daddy I can't breathe!!" I said while laughing. He stopped immediately.
"I'm sorry my little princess. Come on let's get you mom up here to get you all dressed up for the party okay?" he said picking me.
"Okay Daddy" putting my head on his shoulder.

Three hours later
I was in a purple dress with hearts and a purple crown. My hair was straight. All of my friends were there. Especially my best friends Mia and Adam.
"Okay everyone time for the cake" says my mom rushing to the table holding a candle that has the number 8.
All my friends gathered around the table and started singing happy birthday to me. We all got pieces of the cake. I was eating my cake and then my daddy comes up and smears cake all over my cheek. He was laughing so hard.
"Daddy why did you do that????!!!???" i said smiling while getting up ready to pounce on him.
"haha sorry Princess its a tradition" he says running away before I can get him.
I run towards him and while I was running I saw my mom roll her eyes at my dad. Once i caught up to my dad he took me into his arms and hugged me. After the party ended I went to my room to open all my presents. THE BEST THING EVER!!!!!! I opened the one from Mia I think and saw a barbie and polly. haha she's the best!!! Thats all I wanted for my birthday. I took off the dress and put on my barbie nightgown. I love my nightgown. Its BARBIE!!!! My favorite.
"DADDY!!!! COME HERE!!! I WANT YOU TO READ ME A STORY!!!" I screamed while getting in bed.
"I'm here princess" he says while getting the Sleeping Beauty book. I love that one!!. He gets on my bed and pulls the cover up.
"My little princess I have to tell you something". he says tearing up a bit.
"What's the matter daddy?" I say getting confused in why hes crying.
"Your mature enough to handle this. Please don't cry but I have to leave you for a little while. Your mom dont want me here Emily. " he says taking a big and deep breath.
"Okay Daddy". i say.
"My little princess when you get a older you must go to your Aunt......" he gets cut off by a noise outside my door. He checks his watch
"Oh no!! Emily I have to leave. Here take this necklace. Always wear it." he says while putting it on my neck. He gives me a peck on the cheek and runs.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
I never seen him again. I miss him dearly. I remember all the fun times we had but they were gone just like that. Today I got a letter from him though. He was talking nonsense about him being something that everybody thinks is a horrible monster. Towards the bottom of the letter he said that ill be turning into the same thing as him and thats when it hit me.
I was going to turn into a vampire.. Once i started getting older I looked online and looked into the journal he left in my room that same night he gave me the necklace. I havent told anyone.
Come on Emily snap out of it. Stop being a chicken and just be brave. You only have a short amount of time before it happens. Grrrrr i know.
Whoa im talking to myself, haha maybe the crazyness is in the bloodline. I turn towards the clock and it reads 12.00pm. Well its gonna be a long day.
