Life of a Schoolgirl

Chapter 1

Hey! I'm Beth. This is a story of my life. Hope u like it x. BTW, I will mention others in this but I won't use their real names for privacy reasons.

I guess I'll start from today. Today was the rewards trip for the students at our school. We went to Lightwater Valley. My friends Alfie, Tanya, Joe, Toby, Jade and Naomi went too.

I sat with my friend, Toby on the way there. We got there at about 11:15 and we'd been travelling for 2 hours. When we got there we all ran to the entrance, gave in our tickets and went to explore! As soon as I got in, I went on the high swings.

I went on loads of other rides too but I'm not going to talk about them all.

It came to lunch time and I couldn't find any of my friends, so I started to walk around when I found Toby. I asked him if he knew where Alfie was and he shook his head. I sat down and ate lunch with Toby. About 20 minutes later, there was still no sign of Alfie, so I took Toby's younger sister May on the high swings.

Later on, I went on a ride called Eagle's Claw and it went extremely high in the air! It made my stomach feel like a wobbly mess! Some of the people on the ride were actually crying but I didn't think it was that bad!

After that, me, Toby and May went to go explore some more when I found Naomi! We decided to go on a rollercoaster. Whilst we were queuing, we saw Alfie ahead of us. Our time finally came to get on the rollercoaster, and it was EPIC! After the rollercoaster, me and Naomi wandered around for a while before we sat down for Naomi to eat her lunch.

After Naomi had eaten, we went on a ride called Whirlwind, which we were stuck on for at least 20 minutes! We were still strapped in and my legs went numb. They felt like jelly! When we were let off, we didn't have much time left so me and Naomi walked around for a while.

Finally, it was time to head back to the coaches, to make our way home. I sat next to Joe on the way back. It wasn't a very exciting journey home, more noisy and emotionally draining. Also, me, Joe, Alfie and Tanya played Kiss, Marry, One Night Stand. Again, it was epic! My friends are amazing! I listened to music and read a book.

According to Joe, I fell asleep. I think we were all pretty tired from the rides though as when we got on the bus, most of us were sleepy. Joe said I wasn't asleep for long.

We finally got back to school at about 5:30. I had to wait for a friend. Her bus was 20 minutes late!

Today was awesome, I loved every minute of it!
