Silent Boy

Chatper 7:

"Connor" I hear Jackie yell outside my door. I walk over to the door and opening it not wanting to shout back so Alice can here me. I gesture her into my room and she walks in and says "so you know how you can draw?" "Ya" I answer quietly, "we'll I have a talent to and I want to show you" she tells me with a large smile plastered on her face "what is it?" I ask "come on I'll show you" she says to me taking me by the hand and leading me down the hall "wait here" she says and walks into the room that I am standing next to and she walks out about ten seconds later with a case in her hand. "Come on" she says and walks out of the house. "Where are we going?" I ask "you'll see" she tells me and keeps on walking. After fifteen minuets of walking she stops and says "we're here" "where are we exactly are we?" I ask looking around at the scenery. "This is my get away place sounds weird but it is" she tells me. "Well what's your talent?" I ask looking at the bag she is holding "I'll show you when it's time" she tells me giving me an evil smile "you're not going to kill anybody right?" "Of corse not why would I do that?" "I don't know just forget it" I say looking down slightly embarrassed that I said that "stand perfectly still your position is perfect" she tells me I listen and here her snap something and make a flashing light. "Ok you can move now" she tells me "what did you do that I had to stay in that position for?" "I was doing this" she answers and hands me a camera with a photo of me on the screen. "my talent is photography" she tells me waiting for my reaction "this is a really good photo you should be a photographer when you grow up" I tell her smiling "thanks" she says and takes the camera back "we should get back, dinner will be ready soon" I say she sighs and says "alright but you have to promise me that you wont leave me" "what do you mean" I ask "you'll find out soon enough" she tells me already starting home.
