Going Away

I threw my bag over my shoulder with an angry groan,not wanting anything to do with today. And before I could jump out my window to leave the house,I heard a vibration from my phone. I picked it up and read the message from some random person in my contacts.

"Hey..."

A flash of frustration went through me;what's with the period of elipses?
This better not mean someone's about to spill all their problems out to me.
I can't stand that crap.

I shoved my phone into my back pocket without replying.

Glancing back at the open window,I sighed.
My plan was to just leave for the day and walk around town. Maybe even paint.

I climbed out the window and snuck around to the front of the house leaving the driveway and walking down the pavement walk.
It was cold,but I wasn't going to go back for another jacket.
A black hoodie,a gray beanie,and my bandana around my lower face was enough.

My duffel bag full of spray paint hung at my side. I watched my beat up Chucks come in and out of my vision while I made my way to my alleyway,passing swiftly through floods of parked cars and crowds of people.
