A Visit That Changed It All (Jake Paul)

Chapter Twenty-Five✔️

The next day I was let out thankfully.  I decided to call my mom before posting my video. I know I told Jake we couldn't tell anyone. But my mom would have figured it out anyway and he agreed.

Every ring made me more and more anxious.

ring! ring! ring!

"Hey mom" I said.

"What's wrong darling?" she asked the second I finished saying mom.

"Noth- how did you know?" I said giving up immediately.

"Because I'm your mother and Jake called me before he left but I knew the second he called" she said trying to revive her super mom status.

"Okay well you have to promise you won't get mad, okay?"

"Okay I won't get mad, promise."

"I'm pregnant and I was in the hospital because I didn't know so I kept taking birth control which hurt the baby and I." 

"Are you still pregnant?"

"Yeah."

"Are you keeping it?"

"Of course!"

"Well have fun telling your brother."

"I'm not going to. Not yet at least."

"Why?"

"I'm not that far along so I don't want anyone knowing yet in case I do lose it considering I almost did."

"Okay well I have to go. Call me later, okay?"

"Okay bye mommy love you!"

"Love you too bye!"

After finishing all the paper work we returned to the Zalfie household. From the second I got up from the hospital bed to when I got settled on the couch Jake treated me like a porcelain doll. As if the slightest movement would break me. It was cute the first five minutes but after that I wanted to hit him. 

It was around lunch so before we got there Zoe and Alfie got take away. In the hospital they didn't give me food but rather an IV bag. So I ended up taking some of Jake's food because I was so hungry for real food.

"Why are you letting me take your food?" I asked. 

"Because you and our baby went through a lot."

"Who said it was yours" I said making everyone go wide eyed.

"I'm joking" I added as I laughed at them.

"I almost had a heart attack! Don't do that to me!" Jake said over exaggerated.

"Aw but I thought you liked the hospital?"

"Oh yeah for sure."

"So what are you guys gonna do?" Zoe asked.

"About?" I asked in return.

"The baby! Like are you guys gonna tell your fans when you're farther along? Or keep your baby a secret? And are you okay to fly?"

"Well it's going to be hard to hide a belly bump. And the flying I guess I'll have to call the doctor tomorrow. Speaking of, Jake are you staying the rest of the time here?" I said turning to him.    

"Baby girl it's not just your responsibility it's ours" Jake said.

"Cute. But uh is that a yes?" I said knowing I ruined the moment.

"Why you gotta ruin a cute moment and yes" he said a bit grumpy. 

"Because I like to make you mad buttface" I said then gave him a kiss on the cheek.

The four of us and Nala were all peacefully on the couch watching a movie. That was until I hear my phone going off. So I grabbed it and went into another room. I looked to see it was Gilinsky. So I picked it up.

"Hey Gil-" I started but he cut me off.

"When were you gonna tell me you were pregnant!?" he somewhat yelled.

"What are you talking about?! I'm not pregnant! Who told you that?" I asked concerned.

"Well you haven't been on twitter or looked at your comments obviously."

"Gilinsky what are you on about?"

"All over twitter people are saying your pregnant because you wouldn't say why you were in the hospital and why you aren't going to the events. And so I went to go look at the video. While waiting for the ads to be over I looked at the comments and it was the same thing. It also didn't help that Jake was in the video since you never mentioned him coming to England with you. Lastly I'm your best friend and I could tell just from seeing you."

"Uh okay bye, love" I said hanging up instantly not knowing what to say.

Hey guys so I was originally gonna work on updating other books but this book had 4k+ reads. Which is so cool. So I thought that I would give you guys an update to say thank you. I honestly never thought I would get 4k+ reads or 60+ votes. Oh and sorry its a bit shorter than usually but I'm happy with it. And btw this took forever because I hand wrote it and its just painful trying to type it. But yea much love thanks.
