"Bring the drugs... baby I can bring my pain" - The Weeknd

-

I pulled down on my off-white silk dress in hopes it wouldn't once again fly up and expose what should be hidden. It was another beautiful yet evidently windy day in the preoccupied city of Toronto, and it was a Sunday, church day. I had just walked out of my house with my 2-inch YSL tribute strappy heels along with my little white cutch to hold my favourite plum lip-gloss and my eyeliner just in case any of the makeup on my face decided to smear.

Holding my dress down I walked out to the driveway where my family had already surpassed me too. I entered my father's Black 2015 Audi A8, and seated beside Wes, my 15 year-old brother.

"We're going to church" Wes eyed, looking down at my outfit "Not a wedding," He pointed his finger at me. Just the felicitous comment I was looking forward to too, note the sarcasm.

"I think your sister looks ravishing, very classy choice Brooklyn," my mother spoke pivoting her head towards the back of the car.

"Thanks mom, I guess some people just don't understand fashion," I spoke eyeing my brother as he rolled his eyes and took out his phone and his 'Beats' to listen to music.

Being a guy in his early teenage years he didn't appreciate fashion whereas my life revolved around it. I love expressing my emotions in my outfits, after all you know what Coco Chanel says, I don't do fashion I am fashion.

"Hun, can we leave now?" My father spoke looking at my mother, who swiveled the rear-view mirror toward her face, applying her favourite rosy pink blush.

"Yes," she smiled back as she finished.

I just stared out the window as we passed the different vicinities of Toronto.

I felt my clutch vibrate and focused my attention on it. It's made a clicking noise as I popped it open, and pulled my iPhone out of it.

New Message From: Ally Pierro

I was assuming it probably had something to do with what happened yesterday.

WE HAVE TO DO WHAT WE DID YESTERDAY AGAIN! I SWEAR THAT WAS THE MOST FUN I HAVE EVERY HAD. -Ally

Oh God. What happened yesterday will never be repeated as long as I live.

Count. Me. Out. If my parents every found out, I would be locked up in my house until the day I die. -Brooklyn

I had grown up in a very religious Christian family, always been taught manners. Meaning I didn't go to parties often or most things troublesome teenagers did my age. I had grown up grounded and well-mannered, same goes for my siblings.

I mean sure I did the ever so often overreacting dramatic teenager act here and there, but what we had done yesterday was far from my beliefs and it contradicted everything I had grown up learning.

"Wow that was fucking amazing!" Ally spoke in excitement of the party we had just attended, "The drink... everything, god I feel so alive," she continued putting her hands up and letting the fresh cool breeze hit her face.

We had just exited, 'Ace' the biggest night club in Toronto.

My adrenaline was pumping; I could feel the rush in through my entire body. God I had never felt this loose before and man, oh man.. I loved it.

I drank. I mean sure it was 2 shots of vodka but it sure as hell counted!

It may sound stupid but I could finally say I 'turned up.'
