My Life

Narrator: Mira and her family had just moved into a new house. Her father got a new job so they had to move. They told her and her older brother Timothy that it would be better for them to make new friends. It was easy for Mira because she had no friends from the beginning but not for her older brother. He complained about not seeing his friends all the way there.

Timothy: Why is it that I had to come when I didn't want to move in the first place. I hate every thing about this family.

Narrator: Mira put on her headphones to ignore her brother's complains. The next morning when her and her brother first started school they were at the table eating breakfast. Mira had a strange feeling inside her. It wasn't pain or anything like that. She just dismissed it as a feeling. They both grabbed their backpacks an ran out the door an rode their bikes to their new school. When they have arrived her older brother walked up to her.

Timothy: Look at home we are brother and sister. This is a new school and everything so here we do not know each or anything you hear me.

Mira: (talks quietly) Anyone will find out sooner or later....

Timothy: (smacked her right in the face) you better not say a word you hear me

Narrator: A boy saw Mira's brother hit her in the face. He walked up to them.

????: Hey its not nice to hit a girl!

Timothy: Back off punk this is none of your business

Narrator: The boy went up to Timothy an was ready to punch him in the face. Mira held the boy's fist in her hand.

Mira: (has her head down and says in a quiet voice) It's ok you don't have to defend me.....

Narrator: Timothy walked off an left them alone. The boy lifted Mira's chin with his hand to look at her. What he saw was her having a big red mark on her face.

????: Why did that guy do that to you for?

Mira: Its nothing.....

????: My name is Liu Woods. What's your name?

Mira: Its Mira Rubyblood.....

Liu: (smiles) That's a cute name. Who was that guy that hit you?

Mira: (turns away with tears in her eyes) I'm not allowed to tell.....

Liu: (turns her back around to face him and saw her crying) Hey it's ok you don't need to cry.

Mira: .......

Liu: Hey do you want to be friends?

Mira: sure.....

Liu: Come with me

Narrator: Liu started to walk. Mira followed him. They went to a place right next to the school. It was a abandoned house. They went inside and there was someone inside.

Liu: Hey Jeff

Jeff:.......

Liu: bro I got us a new member to come here now

Jeff: It better not be a girl

Liu: Jeff don't be mean now ok

Jeff: fine....

Liu: You can come in don't be shy

Mira: (walks in with her head down and says in a quiet voice) h-hi....

Jeff: Who is she?

Mira: I'm Mira Rubyblood.....

Jeff: thats a messed up last name

Liu: Jeff don't be mean to her ok she is new around here

Jeff: What has she done something to you Liu

Liu: Jeff cut it out ok

Mira: I-I'll just go.... I'm sorry if I did anything wrong......

Liu: (chuckles) Mira it's ok this just my little brother Jeffery

Jeff: I'm not little.....

Liu: Don't worry he won't do anything to you come on have a seat.

Narrator: Liu sat down and patted the space next to him for Mira to sit. She down next to and looked at Jeff.

Jeff: What are you staring at girl....

Mira: (looks away) s-sorry....
