Narrator: Jeff and Liu looked over to Mira to make sure she is still reading that got out of the lake. They didn't have any towels so they put on their clothes while their bodies were still wet.
Mira: (looks down at her watch) I got to go is it ok if I see you guys tomorrow?
Liu: Yea your welcomed anytime you want to come here. Oh by the way, I'm not trying to be creepy or anything. I just wanted to let you know we live right across from you. If you need anything just come over.
Narrator: Mira hugged Liu. She didn't mind his clothes being wet a little. She let go of him and ran while looking behind her and waving with a smile. She looked around to make sure the girls that bully her aren't around. She got on her bike and started heading home. When she reached her home she got off an ran inside and to her bed room.
Mira: (sits on the bed and talks to herself) That was really weird today.
Narrator: Mira was just sitting on her bed and listen to the song "The Darkness". Her older brother barged in her room.
Mira: Hey get out of m-!
Narrator: He ran up to her an covered her mouth. Mira felt something cold to her throat.
Timothy: (whispers in her ear) Shut up an don't say a word at all. You do as I say you hear me. My mom and dad aren't home so they can't help you. No one even wants to because your nothing.
Narrator: Mira nodded her head. He held a pink little dress up for her to see.
Timothy: (whispers) Put this on now.
Narrator: He pulled the knife away an threw the dress at her. Mira did what she was told. Hours later... Toby heard screams from somewhere.
Toby: (talks to himself) wh-what was th-that...
Narrator: Toby followed the screams an was in front of Mira's home but the screams had stopped.
Toby: (talks to himself still) I-it came from Her-here....
Narrator: Toby got curious and walked to the door. He opened an looked around to make sure no one was there. He walked quietly an peeked in Timothy's room an found him asleep.
Toby: (in his mind) The scream was more of a girl not a boy.
Narrator: Toby slowly and quietly moved away. He quietly opened the next door and peeked. He saw Mira in ripped up pink dress and crying on her bed. He wanted really badly to go up and hug her to make her stop crying. He had tears in his eyes when seeing her cry. Mira looked up an saw Toby peeking through her door. She covered herself with the covers on the bed.
Mira: (in quiet scared voice) To-b-b-by.....
Narrator: Toby opened the door quietly still so he won't wake up her brother. He then walked in an quietly shut the door behind and walked over to Mira. He sat down on the side of her bed. She was still crying all he could do was nothing.
Mira: (whispers with tears still running) how did you get here I never told you where I lived....
Toby: (in a quiet voice and tics) I hear a-a sc-scream so I fo-followed it.....
