Ponyboy POV:

I walked home with Johnny one night after an absurd movie. I kept glancing at him. Dammit, Pony! Just do something about it! I couldn't. Soda and Darry wouldn't let me anyway. I never even came out to anyone except Dally and he was perfectly fine with it because he's gay, too. Well, bi. Johnny pulled me from my thoughts.
"Pony..." He said.
"Hmm?" I bit my lip.
"We've been friends for a long time-" oh.my.god. Is he really gonna-?
"Yeah."
"And you know I'm gay..?" Holy shit! What!?
"I do now."
"Well..."
Oh god here it comes.
"I've been crushing on you for a while." I internally freaked the hell out.
"And I was wondering...."
I bit my lip harder.
"Will you go out with me?"
Yes, Johnny! Of course!
"Yeah...sure. Sounds fun." He smiled and kept walking until we got to his house. His parents where fighting. Again.
"Johnny, you wanna stay at my house?" I asked. He nodded and we walked to my house, avoiding the Socs on the way. He and I walked in.
"Hey!" Soda smiled.

Johnny POV:

"Hi," I said and sat in the couch next to Darry.
"Hey there, Johnnycake." I smiled at him. He looked up at Soda and Steve joking around.
"Goddammit you two! One of these days one of you is going to get hurt!" Soda giggled and turned towards him.
"Not like it hasn't happened before." I remember when they used to date. It was cute and of course they're still best friends. Still act the same way they did before they dated. I watched the brothers and Steve as they joked around.
"You're awfully quiet today, Johnny boy." I looked at Steve.
"Aren't I always?"
"Not this quiet. Not with us anyway. What's wrong? It's not them Socs botherin' you again is it?"
"No, no, Stevie nothin' like that! Just...." I looked at Ponyboy as if to ask permission to tell them. He nodded. "I'm dating Pony." Soda smiled.
"I KNEW IT! LITTLE BROTHER HAS A BOYFRIEND!" Pony laughed.
"Shut up!
