The bell for home room rang, and the teacher began taking roll.

"Julie-here- Trey-here- Dee-here- Rayna.."

"Here!" I said , and went back to zoning out. Yep, that's me! Ugh, don't even get me started on my ugly ass name! I smoothed my teal dress with the brown braided belt. I seriously hope I made the right choice wearing my silver 5 inch heels! I always get so nervous on the first day of school! Well in 4 years I'll be gone!

"Hey, Rayna!" Danny said shooting me a flirtatious smile. I returned a friendly smile.

" So, babe, I've had my eye on you since Mary's party.. What you say we, ya know, have a party of our own.. But make this one.. Private." He said with a chuckle as he said the last word. Ewww! I mean Danny is hot, but it's all hot air. Besides, what am I gonna look like dating a idiot? Whatever.

"Listen you cocky, arrogant, self coincided, ignorant bastard.. I've told you a thousand times, I DON'T WANT YOU."

I might have said the last part a little too loud, because I heard snickers and saw Danny flick them off. He turned back to me. " I will have you, Rayna. If you like or not." He said with a perverted smile. " Is that a threat?" I asked leaning forward in my chair a bit. "Only if you want it to be, sweetheart." He said and those were the last words before he turned around.

I tuned back into Mr. Gramble's roll call once more. He was saying the last few names, when the finest boy walks in.

He walks up to Mr. Gramble and tells him he's new, and His name is Kirk.

I couldn't help but stare. He was wearing Concords, the same pair I had. His pants were black jeans, and were fitted not skinny. Thank God! He wasn't sagging, and he had a seat belt belt on. Those are so cute! He was wearing a black shirt with " Don't Say It If You Ain't 'Bout It, Babe." All in all, it was a cute shirt. His face was fine as fuck, and he had these beautiful hazel eyes. He turned and his gaze met mine, and even though I am black but lightly, I knew you could the blush as he smirked at me, almost knowingly.

I looked around the class as Mr. Gramble told him to sit in the empty seat. I felt real stupid when my eyes fell down, and saw that the only seat was right next to me.

I ran my hand through my hair, and kinda just left it there, so the rest of my hair fell around my face, hiding me. As soon as he sat down, I felt his presence. Damn, he smells good! I felt him shift a little, then he sat his hand on my shoulder.

"Hey, you okay? I mean damn, I didn't mean to scare you when I looked at you.." He said. His voice was like a chocolate waterfall to my ears.

"Uh, yeah, it's okay.. I'm not scared.. Just, err... Curious? I shouldn't have been looking so hard anyways.." I told him with a small smile.

He reached over and tucked a stray hair behind my ear. "Sorry," he breathed as his hazed met mine, "I couldn't help myself." And with that comment, a growl like noise came from Danny's direction.

"Is that your boyfriend?" Kirk asked me.

" He wishes." I muttered under my breath, but Kirk heard me. He laughed a small laugh and met my gaze, and shyly, licked his lips and looked down.

I smiled at his face, it was almost as if he nervous.

"Are you okay?" I asked him. "Yeah, I'm fine." He said with a cheesy grin.

"Just waiting for me to lose my breath from your very presence?" I teased.

"Yeah." He said, smiling. I laughed, my heart skipping. "Lemme see your classes, Kirk." I told him and he handed me his sheet. I was baffled. We had every class together except math. "This is crazy, it's like they put you with me in purpose." I said to my self. He licked his lips. I guess we will be spending a lot of time together then?" He said with a sexy smirk. " You'd like that, wouldn't you?" I told him as the bell rang and I walked out of the room.

As I walked out the room, my pencil fell out of my binder and I went to pick it up, when someone grabbed me, with their hand over my mouth and arm around my neck. I tried to scream but the sound was entirely muffled as he pulled me into a dark corner.

"So, Rayna, You got yourself a new boy toy, huh?" The man said as he dragged me, " I told you I would have you, if you liked it or not."

Danny?

"Danny!" I called even though I knew my voice wouldn't sound right. "Let me go!! Why are you doing this?"

He didn't answer as he pulled me towards the parking lot.
