chapter 20

Dippers POV

As we walked through the woods stan wouldn't stop complaining about how his feet hurt. "Stop complaining " I said to him multiple times. After a while I decided to stop for some lunch which would just be Berry's and water.we stopped and sat under a tree I think it was an oak tree...maybe but anyway, Stan plopped down on the ground next to me. "You going to eat anything?" I asked him as a bit into a berry. "Na I'm not really hungry" he said then leaned up against the tree we were under. At this point I was starting to worry about mabel,it wasn't like her to run off like that without warning. Something just feels off why haven't we seen any mysterious things? I continued to think about everything that's happened so far. I started to think about the first time me and Mabel stepped foot in the mystery shack. She was so exited then I thought to the end of summer,wait I didn't remember leaving gravity falls at all. "Uh Stan do you remember me and Mabel leaving gravity falls because I don't". He looked at me "well of course you don't you guys never left" he took a sip of this water then took a spit take and spit right in my face. "Wait you never did leave how is that possible" he looked at me. "The last memory I have of the shack is going down stairs for breakfast". Stan thought back "I remember making breakfast...what's going on...?" He looked around. Suddenly bill appeared "Well pine tree I guess you really are the smartest of your family" he circled me "I see you have figured out none of this is real more like a dream..." He snapped his fingers. The next thing I knew I was waking up I sat up and saw that I was twelve. I looked at were my face was on the table my face had been laying in syrup. My face felt sticky I looked over to find mabel . "Mabel?" I got up and ran through the shack. I ran up to our room in the attic. I smiled as I saw that Mabel was asleep in her bed and then I looked over at my bed and saw ford had collapsed asleep onto it. I chucked "wait stan" I ran down the stairs to see stan had already sat in his chair and was watching TV. "What are you doing we need to find bill" I looked at him "but I'm right here pinetree" I turned around and saw bill was floating behind me. "Why did you do that to us!" I yelled at him. "I needed to test you and don't worry they'll be more tests to come" he laughed then disappeared before I could say a word. I heard some one walk down the stairs I looked over and saw ford and Mabel. Mabel rubbed her eyes and ford yawned. "Your back!" Mabel ran up and huged me tight. Ford looked at stan and opened his arms and huged stan. I looked at stan who looked fairly uncomfortable. "Hey mind getting off me this is very uncomfortable" ford let go "dipper what happed to your face?" Ford asked me. "I was sleeping in syrup...." I said and mabel held in a laugh. "Well go wash your face off" stan said to me.I chuckled then walked to the bathroom to wash my face off.
