The Beginning of an Adventure

Talina woke up so suddenly, that she nearly fell out of the bed that she was in. Startled, she looked around the cave, although it looked more like a room.

Just then, she heard a groan and snapped her head to her right, to find her sister laying on a bed, opposite to hers. "Lily, sis, are you alright?" asked Talina, standing up from her bed, but falling down as soon as she lifted her weight off the bed and onto her feet.

"Uhh... what happened?" questioned Lily, lifting her hand to her head. "Umm... Garter and Alex were explaining something, then..." Talina screamed, lifting her hands to her head, as a searing pain shot through it. "Talina! Talina! What's happening?!" shouted Garter, as he and Alex burst into the room.

"Are you alright?" asked Alex, as he made his way to Lily, who nodded, casting a worried glance at Talina. Garter took Talina in his arms," Shh, you two are safe, I promise," he whispered, wiping the hair out of Talina's face and gently rocking her from side to side. Talina was shaking, breathing quickly and sweaty, but she nodded," I think... I think... I'm fine, but, do you know what's wrong with me?" she lifted her blue eyes to Garter's grey ones.

He glanced up at his brother, who nodded, then Garter looked back down at Talina, smiling. "Alex knows," he replied, twirling a piece of her hair round his finger," But first... you two must have something to eat, it's been two days since we... knocked you two out and you should be hungry."

Talina's head immediatly snapped up when Garter said 'knocked' and she eyed them questioningly. "What's going on, why did you bring us to this cave... what do you want from us, are you two rapists?" asked Talina.

"No, we couldn't hurt you, or your sister, we just..." Garter took a deep breath and looked at Alex," Fine, we have to tell you the whole truth, as Garter told you earlier, the two of us are werewolves, you two are our mates and... once a werewolf finds his mate, he won't be able to... hold back for more than a day, since the attraction is so strong and when Garter saw Talina and I saw Lily, we just... couldn't help ourselves," the boys lowered their heads in shame, as the two sisters glanced at eachother, before turning their attension back to the boys.

"Is there a place where I can talk privatly to my sister?" asked Lily, standing up. "Uh, sure, there's a garden behind our cave, it's this way," replied Alex, turning around and heading down one of the four passages behind him. Lily stood up, brushed down her clothes and followed Alex, but before Talina followed, she glanced at Garter, who was moving nervously from foot to foot.

Biting her lip, Talina walked over to him and lifted his face with her hand, so they were looking straight into eachother's eyes. "I'll be fine, I promise," and with that, she kissed Garter's cheek, smiled at him, then followed Alex and her sister.

All Garter could do after that was stare at Talina's perfect figure, as she walked down the hallway and into the black of the cave. "Did she really just... no," Garter was startled and lifted his hand to touch where he had felt Talina's soft lips on his skin, just moments before she disappeared.

As Talina caught up to the older mates, Lily came to walk next to her. "What was that about?" she asked, putting an arm around her sister's shoulders, who shrugged," I guess I'm feeling the same way towards Garter, but I'm not one hundred percent sure." "Yeah,I feel like that towards Alex... but, we're sisters and sisters are meant to help and protect eachother, so... is it a deal?" asked Lily, holding out her pinkie to Talina, who looked up at her older sister, smiling. "It's a deal," she agreed, as they linked pinkies.

"Hurry up you two, we don't have all day!" shouted Alex, making the sisters laugh, before they ran to catch up to him. They walked down many passages, but the only one that Talina remembered walking down, was one that sloped down so steep, that she lost her footing and crashed into Lily, who fell forward and into Alex.

The three of them screamed as they fell down and down the passage, for about a kilometre, before rolling onto flat ground. Groaning, Talina sat up, stretched her back and looked at the other two. "Are you guys okay?" she asked them. "I'm alright," replied Alex, sitting up, then they looked over at Lily, who hadn't moved at all. "Lil, sis, are you alrigt?" asked Talina, moving next to her sister and touching her shoulder, but she didn't budge.

"Is she okay?" asked Alex, starting to freak out. Talina picked up her sister's wrist and checked her pulse. "She's alive... I think she just passed out of shock from the fall," replied Talina, looking up at Alex, whose face was drained of it's colour. "What if she dies, or never wakes up... we'll both be dead..." before Alex could carry on, Talina stood up, put her hands on his shoulders and made him look her straight in the eye," She won't die, I promise, you'll both be fine, now, can you please tell Garter to come here." Alex nodded timidly and ran back down the passage.

As soon as Alex disappeared into the black of the passage, Talina flew to her sister's side. "Sis, sis, Lily, are you okay?" she asked, shaking her sister by the shoulders. Lily didn't budge and Talina flew into Garter's arms, as soon as he and Alex came back. "She's not responding at all!" Talina wailed into Garter's shoulder," Woah, before you both completely freak out, let me see, since I'm the only one who'll be able to concentrate."

Talina and Alex waited impatiently as Garter checked Lily's pulse and her body for any broken bones, before sitting back. "She's okay, just passed out, probably from exhaustion, but defiantly not from the fall," informed Garter, as Alex and Talina sighed in relief. "Can we bring her to... a bed?" asked Alex. Garter nodded," I think that'll be the best idea, it's already dark outside, will you be able to carry her, Alex?"

He nodded," Defiantly and while I take Lily to my bedroom, you can show Talina your shower," Alex winked. "Hey!" exclaimed Talina, as Garter rolled his eyes. Alex just smiled and picked Lily up. "Enjoy yourselves," he said and walked off.
