Chapter 2. It's Off To England

Rachel's POV

The school paid for my airfare to England, so today I was packing and would take off around 12. Gah, I'm so excited! This is going to be amazing!

The plan was I would meet Lou at the airport, then we'd drive to the hotel where I'd be staying for a while till the boys went back on tour.

Goodness I still can't believe this! I'm going to be working with Lou Teasdale. That's like a dream come true for me!

I packed up all my stuff, then carried them all downstairs. My parents and brother were waiting for me. I hugged them all goodbye and said I'll be back in seven months. That seemed like a long time, but I knew it would fly by fast.

Ed came out to help me load up my car. I hugged him again.

"I wish you could come with me. That way I'd have someone to carry all my luggage." I joked.

"Gee, thanks Rach." He chuckled.

"I was joking."

"Well that's a relief." Ed joked back. "Text me when you get there. Ok?" I nodded, hopping into my car. We waved goodbye and I drove off. I was shaky the whole time, just thinking about it.

I got to the airport, and waited for my flight. I brought my guitar with me too. Yup, I also play guitar, and that was the thing I worried about loosing most. I loved that thing.

Finally, I got on the plane and sat their counting down the hours till I arrive in England! Just a couple hours, and I'll be there. The excitement grew when the plane lifted off the ground.

I was on my way.

I knew that I might be up late tonight just getting settled and all, so I got some sleep now. I'd have to deal with a time change too. So getting sleep now was a good idea. Three hours then passed, and I had two more to go.

I didn't sleep much, but I did a lot of thinking.

I'd get to meet One Direction, and get to know them. For nine months straight! And oh, oh my.

Harry.

I'd get to meet Harry! Everyone actually, but oh wow, I'll get to meet Harry!

The thought was totally amazing, that I started smiling. My eyes were closed, so I probably looked weird, but I didn't care.

When I finally arrived in England, it felt like 5 o'clock but it was actually 10 PM. This would take some getting used to. As the passengers all exited the plane, I looked around admiring England. It looked beautiful at night. My luggage was loaded off so I picked it up and had to locate Lou now. But first I texted Ed. He wanted to know when I landed.

Me: I'm in England! :D

Ed: Glad you arrived safely! Have fun! :)

The airport wasn't too crowded, so I thought it shouldn't be too hard to find Lou. Well, I was wrong. I was completely lost at this point. I sat down and waited for a little while. Maybe she was late.

Or I was lost.

Being lost was probably it.

"Rachel?" I heard a voice call from behind me. I stood up and spun around to see Lou Teasdale and Lux walking over. "Hi, you must be Rachel Tyndall!" Lou greeted me.

"Yes." I nodded happily. Lux just stood next to her quietly.

"Well I hear from your overseer, Kari, that you already know who I am. You're a fan of the boys?" She asked.

"Definitely." I replied back. Gosh was I dreaming or what?!

"Well Rachel, it's a pleasure to meet you. I hear you are the best student in Tennessee!"

"I don't know about that." I chuckled. I looked down at Lux to see her watching me. I bent down to her level and said, "You must be Lux. I'm Rachel." I smiled and put out my hand. She looked at me again and reached for my hand. I shook it a little bit as she smiled sweetly. 

"Can you say hi to Rachel, Lux?" Lou said. 

"Hi, Lachel." Lux said. This made me smile. Lachel, how cute! She probably couldn't pronounce her R's yet. 

"She can't say her r's yet." Lou smiled. 

"That's ok." I replied "Hi Lux, it's nice to meet you."  I greeted Lux back. 

"Well, we'd better be going. I need to get Lux to bed, and we need to get you acquainted with the boys." Lou said, taking one of my bags as I took the other one and followed Lou to her car. 

"Are you excited?" 

"Oh yes! I've always wanted to work with you actually. Never did I think I would be able to. And I'm excited about meeting the boys. That's always been something I've wanted to do as well." 

"Well doesn't that work out nicely! I think the boys will enjoy having you around." 

"We go see Hally now?" Lux asked from her car seat in the back. Lou whispered to me, "Hally, is how she says, Harry." This little girl was too cute. 

"Yes Lux, we're taking Rachel to meet Uncle Harry and the other boys." Lou told her. Lux clapped happily.  "She loves Harry, don't you Lux?" 

"Yes!" 

"See?" Lou chuckled. 

"Lux loves Mommy and Lachel too." Lux added, which took both Lou and I by surprise. 

"Why thank you, Lux." I smiled at the little girl. 

"We're here." Lou said, parking her car in the hotel parking lot and getting out to unbuckle Lux. I opened the trunk to get my bags out. 

We walked in, got my room key, then went took the elevator up to the third floor of the hotel. 

"Your room is right here, next to mine." Lou said. I unlocked the door, put my bags in, then Lou led me to the room with all the luggage and Lou's supplies. They had a whole room for that? Wow, there must be a lot of stuff then. Lou unlocked the door to that room as Lux went in first looking for Harry.

"Here we are."

Well, since I posted the intro of Never Been Hurt, I posted a chapter of this. That's how I'm going to do it. Post one chapter of this, then one chapter of NBH. It'll keep me on track. :)

How'd you like it? Chapter Three is already written and ready, but I need to stay on track. When I post 1 of NBM I'll post it. 

All of a sudden, thanks to Harry's song Don't Let Me Go, @Glimmerlily17 and I have been fangirling over Harry for a small chunk of the day. My obsession rocketed sky high today and I can't control myself now. :P Great...
