The Boy of Dark

The night is so silent, the wind blowing through my short white hair and The moon reflecting of my Blue eyes. I sit on the roof petting a stray cat, I look at the moon. The cat rubs up against my hand and purrs quietly, I smile and hold my parasol and stand up and spin it on my shoulder. I grab the cat and set it on the other shoulder, I jump off the roof and land on the ground. The moon reflects off the lake as I walk, I see something glowing in the lake what seems to look like a person. I set my stuff down and walk over to the figure, it was a lady in a long white dress "who are you?" I ask her " that doesn't matter now, what matters now is you must find your other half, the dark to your light" she said "the dark to my light? what does that mean?" I ask but the lady disappears with a blinding light. I cover my eyes and fall back into the water and sit up. I walk out of the lake and over to the cat and my parasol "lets go" I said but the cat just stared "what?" I ask, the cat jumps onto my shoulder and licks my cheek "what?" I ask, I look down at the cat and see that shes looking at the side of my eye where she licked me. I look at my reflection in the water and see a white tear that is curved and has a small black dot in the middle of the top, ( Yin and Yang) "what the heck?!" I yell, I put a bandage on and grab the cat and open the parasol and walk around "who was that and what did she mean by "my other half?". I ended up standing in front of my old house, I sigh and walk away and bump into a boy with Black hair and Purple eyes."i'm sorry i wasn't looking where I was going" I said looking into his eyes, he stares into my eyes " wow i'm sorry your eyes are just so... different" I said. The boy looks at my hair and my eyes, "my name is Shiro, whats yours?" I ask, the boy clears his throat "my name is Kuro" the boy said. I sit on the bench with my parasol on my lap and the cat sitting next to me. I see Kuro standing in front of the lake staring into it. Kuro walks over to me and sits next to me, the cat sits on his lap and starts purring. Kuro pets the cat but his face is showing no expression, the cats ears go flat and her gaze goes behind us. I look behind us and see a dark figure with a blade, Kuro grabs the collar of my shirt and throws me out of the way "watch out!" he said as he takes out a sword and gets in a position to fight. the look on Kuros face is very serious, he battles the man but when Kuro isnt looking the man hits him in the arm. Kuro turns around and takes my hand "come on Shiro!" he said as he started to run, I quickly grab my parasol and the cat and run with him. We ended up running on the street that I used to live on, I grab Kuro's hand and run into the house I used to live in. He lets go of my hand and walks around the house " I think we lost them" I said out of breath. He looks out of the window and looks for the people that were chasing us. "w-who were those people?!" I ask Kuro "they are the The Gaurds of The Evil Prince" Kuro said "hes been searching for us for years" he said. I stand up and stretch " how do you know hes been searching for ME all MY life?" I ask, he walks up to me and looks into my eyes "because we have been with each other all our life" he said with looking down at the floor " I need to protect you....since you protected me that day...". We stand in silence for a while " I do remember a boy with pitch black hair and purple eyes but I don't remember protecting him" I said blankly. Kuro's eyes were filled with sorrow, I gesture my hand for him to follow me, he walks behind me upstairs and I walk into my old room. " you can rest in here, i'll be right down the hallway" I said. I close the door and go to the room and rest, I close my eyes an think about when my family and I lived here still. All of a sudden A the boy with the hair of night, He was always being bullied and he was never wanted, I remember going up to Kuro when he was being picked on and hit the boys in the face and grabbed Kuro's hand and ran away. The boys were chasing us but I grabbed my parasol and hit them in the stomach. Kuro's eyes were so innocent back then... now they're so filled with hate. I wonder what happened to Kuro....he was so kind. In the morning I saw Kuro in the kitchen looking through papers, I walk up to him "what are you looking at?" I ask "I'm looking through papers about the incident with the Evil Prince" he said. Kuro put the papers in a neat stack and put them in his bag, he looked into my Aqua blue eyes " should we get going?" he asked "go where?" I asked "wherever life leads us" he said with a slight smile, I smile back and nod "yea lets go, lets escape from this place" I say with a smile. Kuro and I walk out of the house and walk into the forest, "hey, Kuro?" I ask "yes Shiro?" he looks at me, "do you remember when we were kids?" I ask him, he looks at the bright blue sky and smiles a little "how can I forget? you saved me from those kids" he look sat me "thank you, you really helped me" he said, I smile. I notice a small bandage near his eye, -that wasn't there yesterday- I thought to myself. I stop him and look at the bandage, I touch the mark on my eye that was covered with a bandage too, and then touch the bandage, "what happened?" I ask, he looks at me and starts walking again "its nothing" he said, I jump in front of him and rip the bandage off his cheek "ow! Shiro what the heck!?" he said as I look at his eye the mark he has is a tear thats curved but its the opposite way and its black with a white dot( Yin and Yang) I knew it! you have the mark too!" I smile and take the bandage off the mark on my eye,but he glares at me "uh oh...." I say and run away "Shiro!" he said as he runs after me, I laugh and look back at him not looking where i'm going and fall down a deep hole, I yell. "Shiro are you okay!?" he yells to me, but I can barely hear him.I have scratches and rips on me and my clothes. I see a faint glow in the distance "h-hey! whoa re you?" I ask the light as it comes closer "you have found the dark to your light...." he light say "its you!" I say, the light fades and I find my way out of the hole. I can hear that cat meow from the top of the hole, Kuro holds his hand out and grabs mine, he pulls me out. "thanks Kuro" I say, he nods and looks at my clothes and my face and notices the scratches. He touches a scratch going across my face, I flinch a bit but he grabs my cheek tightly and pulls it "ow!" I say he smirks "that's what you get for ripping the bandage off my face!" he lets go as I rub my cheek but laugh a bit. He holds his hand out and I grab it, smiling a bit I stand up. "lets go" I say as I start to walk, Kuro and the cat were walking behind me as I spin my Parasol on my shoulder. The sun starts to hide behind the hills, I sit on the hill and look at the lake in the distance, I look at the cat "I realize that I haven't given you a name yet" I said "i'll call you Luca" I said smiling. Luca sat on my lap, Kuro sat next to me and sighed "we found each other" I said closing my eyes "found each other?" Kuro said confused "I found the dark to my light and you found the light to your dark" I said looking at the sunset and lay back on the hills. Kuro touches the scratch going across my face again and looks in his bag and takes out a bandages, cotton swab, and some rubbing alcohol, I look at him nervously "sit still" he said as I sit up and scoot away "you baby Shiro. just sit still" he gets closer but I scoot away more, " Shiro. sit still! your going to get infected!" he said and pins me down. "noooooo!" I yell and move around, he puts the cotton swab with alcohol on it and rubs it on my cuts and puts bandages on me. I tear up from the stinging and sit away from him, he smiles a little "you're such a baby Shiro" he said. I look at him and smile, I lay my head on the ground next to him. "I'll protect you Shiro, you saved me so I will repay you" he says and looks back at me but realizes i'm asleep, he sighs.
