The Flames

¨Gently...¨

I wake up and wipe the tears off my face, -was Kuro talking to me while I was sleeping?-

¨I place...¨

I stand up and stretch, I look around for Kuro ¨Kuro where are you?¨

¨A white...veil¨

I walk around outside and look for him 

¨Over...¨

I run outside and see him beside a tree bleeding, the forest on fire

¨The red...¨

I run to him and grab him quickly

¨Burning...¨

I pick him up and set him over my shoulder and look around to find a way to get away from the flames, I look at him and... he's smiling?

¨And proud flame...¨

I start running with him on my shoulder looking around 

¨Everyone...will...be left...alone.¨

I cough as the flames surround us -I can not give up...- I think to myself as I cough again 

 ¨To engrave it...¨

I look back at the stone that represent Hikari's grave I tear up ¨i'm sorry...¨

¨In our memory...¨

I wipe my eyes and look around, beginning to panic of where to go 

¨So deep...that it...hurts.¨

I begin to cough more ¨Sh-shiro¨I hear a weak voice

I cough again, as I run through the flames, I quickly get to the other side and set Kuro down safely 

¨White world...¨

I look back at the flames and see the house fall, my eyes widen and I cough 

¨That was all...there is¨

I kneel down and cough more wiping the the tears that are rolling down my cheeks 

¨Until...The first color¨

I look back and see a flash of blue in the flames and I hear a whisper in my ear saying ¨Shiro don't worry, i'm still here with you...¨

¨That tied everything together...¨

I wipe the tears going down my face 

¨Thinking back...¨

-we were so close... and then she had to....-

I look up to the sly and then at Kuro

I look around me and see the home I used to live in

I turn around and see my sister, I smile and she runs to me and hugs me

I stand in the darkness

I open my eyes and see Kuro sleeping next to me

I smile and look around us
