I'm just a little broken,

a little bit confused.

Things are getting stolen,

and people are getting used.

at just life itself.

I don't deserve to be sad

but for that I blame myself.

Lying in the dirt,

as cold as stone.

I don't know where to turn.

to watch the bad burn.

my emotions won't settle down.

I've been a little lazy,

to try and fix my frown.

to say that I'm fine.

I want to go higher,

show the stars that I know how to shine.

I'm just a little scared

of falling in love.

I didn't come prepared,

I can't tell if I've had enough.

I'm just a little numb,

I don't know what to say.

I'm feeling pretty dumb

and it gets worse everyday.

I'm just a little tired,

I haven't been sleeping well.

The gunshots have been fired,

in case you couldn't tell.

I'm just a little lonely,

just staring at my phone.

Even when there are people all around me

I still feel alone.

it's easy to get me upset.

I'm losing every batttle,

I don't know how much worse this can get.
