Today I have decided to interview ariel-lannister. He is the original creator of Author/Writer Games

and a huge contributor to the Wattpanem universe. Please be sure to check out his works and his recent games, Death Wish!

Q:  How did you get the idea of making an Author Games on Wattpad?

A: Back in the day (which I doubt many people will remember) there was a Wattpad election going on, and I loved the interactive aspect of it. Being kind of addicted to the book series at the time, I asked myself why it couldn't work as a Hunger Games-based contest? A little fixing-up, and the games were born!

Q: I never knew there was any kind of election, I have only been on for six months!

Did you ever expect the Author Games to turn into a whole alternative universe?

A: Yeah, it was about four years ago! It wasn't official, though; it was just for fun, like this!

Not at all, honestly. The first two were nearly impossible to fill up, so I didn't expect it to take off whatsoever. But it was fun, so I kept going, and now it's clearly blossomed!

Q: I've noticed some newer Gamemakers entering the Wattpanem universe. Any cool games that look interesting?

A: I definitely plan on keeping an eye on the new official Games account (Official_Wattpanem)! Otherwise, I have to admit that I'm not all that familiar with more underground Games; I've been kept a bit on the busy side lately, which has meant less snooping around!

Q: I see. I am in the Silver Sector myself.

I heard that you will start up another Games on Sept. 30. Willing to give us any exclusives?

A: Silver, huh? I almost signed up for that one, but in the end, Platinum's the place for me!

Yes, gladly! The concept and cover art has been released last Sunday, but for those of you who don't know, Writer Games: 51 will be a game that, for once, has nothing to do with the Hunger Games. Instead, it revolves solely around the exploration of Area 51, which I hope means we all get to have fun thinking up what might lie in wait! As you said, auditions (as the Games will only be including fifteen authors) will open on September 30th, so I hope to see plenty of you there!

Q: Excellent! Thank you for the interview! Any last comments?
