1:00AM: At an airport...
A radiant woman with long dark black hair was on her tips of her toes as she gazed at the plane that sat on the other side of the thick glass window. She was covered with red, every piece of clothing was drenched in a deep scarlet from her boots to her jacket. A gold locket sat at the base of her collarbones, reflecting glinting gold tones of light. She had been so concentrated in her own happiness that she did not notice the speakers announcing her flight until a tug from her right hand broke through her thoughts. She smiled warmly down at the child who had interrupted her. He reminded her so much of her loved ones. It almost brought tears to her eyes every time. His crimson red hair was as beautiful as his red aura that he had inherited from his father, although he was not as hot-headed and stubborn. He was more solemn at times just like her father who was the one to send her away. There was a small hint of resentment towards her father, but she loved him despite all his actions.
The speakers blared to remind all passengers to board the plane. Snapping out of her personal wonderland, she swiftly led her child into the line that now moved at a steady pace. Handing the attendant both their passports and tickets, a stream of adrenaline filled her as she realized how close she was to home.
"Ms. Reika Kokujōji and Mr. Daiki Suoh, you are all ready to go," the attendant smiled down at the woman's son, handing back the passports and tickets.
"Thank you," the woman answered, sliding the pieces of paper into her bag. The attendant's smile faltered for a second when she say the tattoo on the inside of the woman's wrist. Some kind of red symbol embedded forever in her wrist. However the smile returned as the next traveler came up, besides it was none of her business anyway.
The woman moved briskly, a skip in her step. If her child had trouble keeping up with her gait, he did not show it as he shifted his pace accordingly. Finding their first-class seats easily, she made sure that her child was settled comfortably before the plane set off.
"We will meet your father as soon as we land," she promised, her face animated with excitement.
"What about grandfather?" the boy asked. A perplexed look passed through the woman's face fleetingly.
"We will meet him too," she smiled carefully before kissing him on his head.
