I sprawl out on my bed and facetime Ethan. Within one ring he answers. I take a good look at his puffy cheeks and his reddened eyes. I lift my eyebrows and earn a look from Ethan.

"Babe are you okay?" I ask.

"I missed your voice." He smiles.

"Have you been crying?" I investigate.

   "Yeah." His eyes look elsewhere.

"Ethan Grant I fucking miss you so much." A hot tear rolls down my face. I quickly wipe it away and a sniffle escapes my mouth.

"Stop, I hate that I have made you cry and I can't be there to comfort you." Ethan pleads.

I let a chuckle out. "Did you know that tomorrow marks a month that you have been gone?"

"It also marks a month until you come to visit!" Ethan blurts out.

My  eyes go wide and I cover my mouth. The tears rush down my face.

"Ethan Grant Dolan are you joking?" I ask.

"No, babygirl I am not joking. I already verified it with your mom." He smiles.

"I wish that I could hug you right now."

"There is the beautiful smile that I missed dearly." He declares.

I stare at him for a few moments. He makes a few kooky faces for me to stare at.

"How long am I staying?" I break the silence.

   "For a month." he answers.

"I'll be there for Christmas." I cheese.

"We'll be each other's Christmas presents." He laughs.

I quickly nod my head a few times.

"Hey love I have to go. It is getting late." I say.

"Oh, damn. It is almost ten there. I wanted to talk longer, but you have homework." He whines.

"And you have meetings tomorrow." My motherly instincts kick in.

"Goodnight Ethan. I love you." I wave.

"Goodnight Victoria. I love you so much more." He puckers his lips.

I wave one last time before hanging up.
