After her accident, Octavia and her family had turned to the church for recovery, and even now she was older, 18 whilst Roderich was 20, she still relied on the church. The first time she went to church after her accident was an odd experience to say the least.

"You'll be fine Octavia, just pray to be better" her mother murmured "God heals those who need him!" Her mother had always been exceptionally religious.
She was wheeled into the large and cold building, the stares of various church-goers causing the twelve-year-old to look down to her lap in embarrassment.
Octavia could obviously not get down on her knee's, but was helped onto the pew by her mother.
Octavia clasped her hands together and bowed her head, beginning to pray though she could only concentrate for about five minutes.
She became aware of how quiet the church was, looking up as she found her Mother knelt on the floor, praying reverently.
Octavia looked around the musky church, tilting her head as she saw three triplet boys, all with odd little curls, dressed in white robes and praying so seriously you'd think their lives depended on it.
One caught her eye, and after staring at her for a few minutes came over.

"My name is Romano" his voice was laced with a thick Italian accent.
Though he had seemed grumpy with his younger brothers, he was now quite calm and considerate.
"I see God has punished you for something, please, let's pray" he patted her shoulder before putting his hands together, closing his eyes and beginning to pray again.
Octavia stared at him in alarm, swallowing thickly though she again resumed her prayers, though they were more on the lines of praying to be able to go home and see Roderich.
Romano put his arm around her though he continued to pray, murmuring what he was saying out loud.
"Please help this unfortunate soul through her life and give her the miracle of walking once more-" he went on a long ramble, whilst Octavia sat stiffly.

Eventually, after an hour of this, her mother decided it was time to leave, moving to shift her back into her wheelchair.
Romano intervened, smiling softly "Please, allow me to!" He murmured, gently helping Octavia into her wheelchair, kissing her forehead gently "Please, come back to church soon Octavia, I hope to see you here again"
He saw them out of the church, waving as she was wheeled away.
Octavia couldn't help feel he had some sort of agenda, but perhaps he was simply being nice.
She liked him all the same.
