Speak With Confidence;
Prologue.
:"bitter words spoken, everything's broken"
"Well? Get it it out kid!"
"s-s-s-st." Niall stuttered, trying to get the word he so badly wanted to say, out.
"C'mon! Say it!"
"st-st-st." He stumbled over his words, slumping his shoulders in a way saying he gave up. He looked up at his father and saw that he hadn't bothered covering up his disappointment and disgust.
"Worthless." Niall knew his dad wanted to say more but decide against it and left, slamming the door as he did.
Not even seconds later his brother walked in shaking his head.
"Couldn't even tell him to stop! My gosh Nialler, what has gotten into you?" His older brother mocked. Niall kept quite though, knowing way too well what would happen if he opens his mouth.
"c-c-c-cat g-g-got yo-yo-your t-t-tongue?" Greg laughed. Niall shook his head in a defending matter, harshly wiping at his eyes. His brother gave him a once-over and looked directly at him as he said one of the many hurtful words he has heard.
"Pathetic." And just like that, he left just like his father had.
