Hi guys! This is my first fanfiction story!! I really hope, that you guys will like it, because i'm new at this.
It was august 31st, 2015. The 2 year anniversary for Rydel and Ellington was about to come up, and, of course, Rydel was getting ready for it really intense, but Ellington seemed not to care much about it.
Rydel's pov.
September 1st came, and i was almost done getting ready for tomorrow. I was in the kitchen, making an anniversary present for Ellington. He really likes it, when i make him something, and eaven more, if it's something edible. I'm making him his favorite cake: Chocolate cake. I sent Ellington to the the store, so he couldn't spy on me. I was alone at home, because the rest of my family were visiting our grandparents, so i and Ellington could celebrate our 2 year anniversary alone.
Ellington's pov.
I got sent to the store by Rydel, to get some products. And, of course, it was my chance to finish my anniversary present for her. I had planned it for weeks, and it's almost done. The last thing i needed to do is rent a carriage, to pick us up tomorrow at 5pm, so we could ride near the water and see the beautiful view. Rydel doesn't have a clue, that i'm working so hard for our anniversary, because i've been playing cool.
I'm done! Everything for tomorrow is planned! But before heading back, i have to stop at the store, to get the things, that Rydel needed. And i need to make up a story, because, i was away for 2 hours to a store, that's 10 miles away.
Rydel's pov.
The chocolate cake for Ellington is done! Now i have to wait for Ellington, to get the topping: raspberries. He's finaly here with everything, that i needed. I didn't ask him, why he was at the store so long, i decorated the cake, while Ellington put a movie on, he chose "Romeo and Juliet". I sat near him, and he wrapped his arm around me and the movie started, and, of course, as always, i fell asleap.
Ellington's pov.
We slept on the couch the entire night. I was up, and i didn't want to wake Rydel up, so i silently got outside, to make some last minute calls, about the carriage, and everything was okay. I left Rydel home alone, to pick up my suit, and to get into the carriage. I'm driving home to Rydel in a carriage, how cool is that?
Rydel's pov.
I got up and saw, that i'm alone, Ellington had left me alone on our anniversary. I thought, that maiby he left to get flowers or something, but he's still not back, and it has been hours since i'm up. I didn't know what to do. I put on the dress, that i bought last week, and made my hair and did my makeup and just sat at the kichen and i was gazing at the cake, the cake i made for my boyfriend, who had forgotten our anniversary. But then, i heard a knock at the door. I rushed to the door, to see see who it was... it was Ellington, looking amazing in his suit, and of course he had more than 30 red roses in his hands, which he gave to me. I was crying, but then he said something "Rydel, i'm so sorry, if you got the idea, that i had forgotten our anniversary, but i didn't, i have worked so hard for this". I'm crying so hard now. I'm literaly bursting into tears. "Don't cry Rydel, did i do something wrong" he said. "No, everything's amazing" i replied. Then he said to me "Look what's behind me". I saw a carriage, and on it's roof, there was a sign, which was made by roses, which said "Happy Anniversary Beautiful! I love you!".
Ellington's pov.
I walked up to the carriage, and opened the door for Rydel and i helped her to get in. We set off to the beach, where i had a suprise planned for her. "This anniversary is amazing Ellington, i love you so much!" Rydel said. "This is only the beggining Rydel, i saved the best for last" i replied. When we arrived to the beach, i had a little spot set up, away from everyone, it has an amazing view. "Ellington, this is just....", she said. "I have something for you Rydel" i interrupted her. "You have no idea Rydel, how much you mean to me" i said. "If it wasn't for you, i would of gone wasted". I pulled a small box out of my pocket and said "Rydel, i have something for you". I opened the box and there was a silver necklase with a pink heart on it. "It's so beautiful Ellington!" She leaned into a kiss, and we kissed. "I have a suprise for you, i know how food is everything to you, right after me, and i made you this", she took a box out of the carriage, and gave it to me. It was a chocolate cake. My favorite. I put the cake on to the table and we sat down to watch the sunset. "This is a perfect moment, not just because the sunset is beutiful, but because you're with me, i love you Ellington Lee Ratliff" she said. "I love you too Rydel Mary Lynch" i replied. We continued to watch the sunset for hours, and i wrapped my arm around her and i kissed her forehead. She wrapped her hand around me and hugged me and leaned her head on my shoulder. And we both said "This is the best anniversary ever!"
