Bucky was stretched out on the couch flipping through the channels when he heard the front door open.
"Nat?"Carrying in the few grocery's Nat bought, she quickly glanced over at Bucky who was lazily laying on the couch. As much as Nat loved him, sometimes she wished he would help out a bit more. She understood that sometimes after a mission or something he likes to kick back or something, but on one of these days she just wished once he would come help without having to be asked like he used tondo for her. Little random kisses here and there with a surprise back massage. Oh, she really missed those.
"Yes, its me"Bucky could pick up a tone in Tasha's voice that only meant one of two things. One she was in a bad mood and didn't really want to be talked to or two she is frustrated again which might lead into another verbal fight between the two lovers. Bucky hated it when they fought. He just couldn't stand seeing his precious gal all upset. When it came down to it he would always comfort her, showing Nat that he still loves her and that he always will.
"Is there something wrong?" Bucky asked in a hesitant voice.Letting out a soft sigh Nat replied to Bucky.
"Nothing is wrong. Mind helping me put these away?"
Nat was pushing the limits a little when she asked that question. Quite honestly she didn't expect him to help or even reply. Frowning to herself, Nat began to wonder what was causing Bucky to be this way. She wanted to get down to the bottom of it. Although she didn't know we're to start. Bucky has always been a hard one to figure out."Sure thing"
Making his way over to Nat, he slowly ran his fingers along her arm. Smirking to himself, Bucky started to help put the things away. Natasha was a hard on to read that was for sure, but somehow Bucky could see past that. Knowing when she was generally lying and when she was truly upset. At this moment it was both.
"Are you sure there's nothing wrong, babe?""I told you I am fine!"
Nat snapped at Bucky. She didn't mean to really, I guess she hit her breaking point. Knowing what just happened it was bound to lead to one of there many fights. Natasha was a little worried because Bucky can say some pretty rude things when he is mad. Taking a deep breath, Nat was ready for whatever was to come her way.Bucky sat down the bag he had in his hand a looked over to Nat.
"I understand"
Grabbing his coat Bucky went for the door. He didn't feel like fighting today. So instead he was going to go take a walk.
"I'll be back"
Closing the door behind him, Bucky was now gone for a bit.Nat was shocked that nothing happened. She was expecting this huge fight, but all he did was walk out. Nat just couldn't quite wrap her mind around the thought. 'Where was he going?' Nat kept asking herself. She knew that he could take care of himself, but did tend to worry about him a lot. For being a deadly assassin, Nat sure knew how to show her weak spots around Bucky. There was just something about him that made her fell well alive. Like she was something more than what the red room made her to be. Nat couldn't even remember the last time she was truly happy.
Keeping his head down, Bucky continued to walk down the path. He was heading to a spot he came across when he was first finding himself again. It was somewhere to help him think more clearly.
Nat poured herself a cup of coffee and headed towards the bedroom. Setting the cup down on the side table, she looked over to one of Bucky's shirts laying on the bed. Nat went to go pick it up to only notice that it was her favorite one to wear. Sliding it on and her top and bottom off, Natasha went to go sit on her side of the bed. Brining out the book she was reading, Nat glanced out the window hoping that Bucky was okay.
Finally reaching his little spot, Bucky sat down on the edge. Thinking about the many ways he could try to make Nat smile again. Something was clearly bothering her, but Bucky just couldn't figure out what it was. Looking down at his knees he could feel something warm sliding down his cheek.
Reading her book, Nat noticed that it was starting to rain. She could hear the drops hitting her window. At first they sounded like nothing, but now it seems they were coming down pretty bad. Nat was hoping Bucky wouldn't be stubborn and come home. Although she remembered that he had serum pumping through his body so there is only a small chance he would get sick.
Looking up towards the sky, Bucky felt the rain coming down. He was quite relived only because now you can't tell he was crying. Its been so long since he had cry, but he knew it was time to let it out. Not worrying about getting sick, Bucky took his jacket off so he was only in his t shirt.
Nat was debating on weighed of not to go look for Bucky. A part of her wanted to so bad, but then the other part kept saying no he left for a reason. Lost in her thoughts she didn't hear the thunder roaring outside. Taking a sip of her coffee, Natasha decided to put some pants and shoes on. She was going to go look for Bucky and bring his stubborn butt back home.
Bucky could see the lightning flashing across the sky. He thought it was so gorgeous, but not as gorgeous as Natasha. That was the only thing on his mind right now. Bucky tried calling Steve earlier to see if he could help him out, but he was away on a mission. Bucky wanted to call Nat super bad, but he knew she wouldn't pick up the phone. Not when she was mad anyway.
Forgetting to grab her coat, Nat headed out the door and down the stairs. Once outside she was thinking on which way Bucky might would go. Starting to walk down the path to the right, Nat realized that she had forgot her jacket and that she was still wearing Bucky's shirt. Not caring what so ever Nat walked a little faster avoiding the other people around her.
Bucky was about to head home to see if Natasha was alright, when he noticed a very familiar red haired beauty walking through a group of people.
"Are you crazy. Babe your going to get sick"
Bucky rushed up to Nat and put his jacket around her.Looking up at her lover, Nat was so happy to see him.
"Well if you didn't leave in wouldn't have came looking for you"
Smiling Nat snuggled up against Bucky's chest to get some warmth from his body.
"I'm glad I found you though, next time don't be a dumbass"Wrapping his arm around Nat, Bucky took in a deep breath. He was just going to agree with her. Bucky wanted to fighting at all. It's bound to happen, but not today.
"No Fighting Please. I love you and that's all that matters right now. Let's head home. Maybe I'll rub your feet or play with your hair. Watch a movie and cuddle."
Agreeing with what Bucky had to say, Nat shot him a smirk before locking her fingers between his. Giving Bucky a quick kiss on the cheek the two headed back towards the house."Nice shirt by the way"
