Chapter 5. Awkward

JULIE'S P.O.V
It was a Saturday. Lucky for me I'm 17 and decided to not finish the last year of high school because they upped me into a year more advanced. Well... Everything.
I have horseback riding at 4:30 pm with splash. It's 1:30 pm right now. I texted Jack.

Julie: hey I'm bored and horseback riding is at 4:30 if you wanna come.
Jack 👅: yeah I'll come with you.
Julie: aight cool I'll pick you up at 4. And just so you know... Don't be a pussy infront of us equestrians. Like, ask to ride a horse or something. Chicks love that.
Jack👅: lol I already know how to pick up chicks like I did to you 😏
Julie: whatever man 😂 see u at 4

Jack didn't respond so I just scrolled though Instagram and followed @idk.breyers okay breyers are these plastic horses. I'm secretly a plastic model horse addict. I spend atleast thousands a year on these collectible lovely horses. I mean. Yeah I have a horse but I love horses so....

My friend, Hanna opened my door "hi bitch," she said jokingly plugging her phone into her charger.

"Hey hoe." I giggle

"I'm going to practice at four thirty. Wanna come? " I ask her turning my head around as she grabs a shit ton of junk food and throws it at me.

"Yeah. I like horses." She smiles as she sits down on the couch flipping the channels putting all of the junk food bags on the coffee table.

"Oohh!!! Let's watch this!" She yelps as she clicks the channel 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life'

I laugh "why do you watch these shows?"

"Because the people on it really try hard to loose weight and I wanna have the motivation" she shrugs and watches the show.

I laugh a little more. "Okay."

I call Jack. It's almost two thirty right now.

"Hey jacky pooh. Get dressed into some jeans with holes and a t shirt you have to wear jeans riding horses" I smile

"Ugh. Why can't I ride you instead of your horse?" I could practically see his smirk

"Whoever said you were riding my horse?" I say and end the call.

Hanna looks at me wide eyed. "Spill. Now."

I tell her everything and by that time it's three thirty.

"Okay I'm going to get dressed into my practice outfit." I run upstairs and change into my Ariat riding boots, Charles Owens helmet and my breeches.

Since my mom left home her keys and went for lunch and dinner with her friend I get to drive her car.

"Let's gooooo." I say as I grab the keys and head to the car. Hanna jogs to the car into the back seat.

I start the ignition and head to jacks house. When I get there I text him and he jogs out of his house with some messed up hair and a shirt where you can practically see his whole torso through the sleeves.

"Hey Jack." I smile. "My friends in the back and knows everything that happened between us so be careful" I smirk

"Good. That means I can do what ever I want infront of her." He looks back at Hanna and laughs.

"Except for fucking or kissing, especially when Julie is driving." She laughs

"Ugh. I brought condoms too, I thought we could have a threesome." He laughs jokingly and I laugh as Hanna looks at him weirdly.

By the time we get to my riding stables my horse is half way tacked up by my coach

"Sorry!" I jog in. My coach nodded and forgives me as she leaves me to tack up my horse.

I am in the arena fully tacked and on splash. The course is what coach. Kozmas emailed me. I examined the course as coach Kozmas said one final thing.

"Any questions?" She said.

"Um- yes. Will my friend there; Jack. Be able to do some trotting on splash? At the end of the lesson?" I replied.

"Splash is your horse, do what you want." She said.

Salty.

By the end of the lesson when everything was put away and gone; I let Jack ride splash.
"Okay, heels down. Shoulders back. Back straight. Shoulders hips and heels inline. Look where your going not at my horse. Squeez splash lightly to go into a trot. Squeeze him and make kissy sounds to make him canter " I said commanding him.

"Damn that's a lot to Remember, okay." He squeezed splashes stomach splash went into a floaty trot. Show off splash.

"Ease into her trot! Let her bump you up and down! There you go! Hands together! No chicken wings here," he passed me glaring at me. I smirked.

He did as told. He looked okay, posture wise.

He kissed and kicked into splash. Oh no.

"Ease into her canter! Pull your arms back a little!" I yelled.

He did as I said.

"I wish you obeyed me in bed like you are now." I half-screamed. To embarrass him.
Hanna laughed her ass off while Jack was rosy-red as he went into a walk.

"Awkward." Jack said flatly.

"Oh yeah I'm coming over for dinner tonight Jack." I say.

"Okay. But still awkward." He laughs as we all untacked splash
