Hey guys! I think I'm gonna delete my other story, Taking Chances, and do this instead.

I just feel like you'll like this one better, and I still need to make a TON of changes to the other one. HOPE YOU LIKE THIS ONE <33333

It was the Bridgeford High Championship Game. The weather was terrible; rain was pouring rapidly from the sky, thunder was crashing almost every time the Northcraft Wolves, our rivals, made any kind of tackle or touchdown, and lightning was striking down all around this stadium. Even though this was one of the worst storms anyone in our small town of Brandy, Tennessee has ever seen, everyone and their mother seemed to be here.

My make-up was streaming down my face as me and 12 other raccoon eyes girls in blue and green skirts cheered our football team, the Bull Dogs, to victory. Especially the Quarterback, Jayce Clay, also my boyfriend since the middle of junior year. I guess you could say every girl envied me. I mean, Jayce looked like a god. Not one of those old, bearded ones. The ones with well-tones abs, tons of muscles, & a face that is too handsome you can’t even dream of. His medium colored short brown hair was so luscious & full, I could spends hours running my fingers through it, which I do. I still wonder, to this day, how he could love a motorcycle loving, dainty cheerleader. I was most definitely not the most gorgeous girl in school, but I know I wasn’t ugly. The only reason I actually did cheerleading was because it’d go good on my college application & we didn’t have a gymnastics team.

The 4th quarter buzzer went off & tons of guys wearing blue & green jerseys ran onto the side lines, cheering & patting each others butts about their amazing lead. Out of all those good looking football players walking past me, I kept my eyes firmly on number 23, whom was walking straight towards me.

Jayce slowly took off his helmet, letting the rain soak his smooth hair. I ran my fingers through my long, tangled & wet, blonde hair, as butterflies fluttered through my entire stomach. He gave me one of the breathtaking smiles as he got closer & closer, so I gave him a shy smile back. Ever since the day we started dating, the butterflies & the constant 100 mph heart beat never faded. I knew from day one I would love him ‘til I couldn’t love anymore.

Soon he was right in front of me, I was ready to jump into his arms, when he beat me to it, wrapping his warm, muscular arms around my waist and lifted me up. I made sure to lock my arms around his neck, so my upper body wouldn’t fly around as he spun me. I completely forgot about the terrible storm around us, only focusing on being in his arms. I felt almost as my legs were going to fly off, as his strong body twirled around with mine, so I wrapped my legs around him, securing myself.

“You’re all wet.” He said, as he stopped the spinning, looking into my eyes, smiling. I nodded & buried my face in his neck, breathing in, taking a whiff of my favorite smell; him.

“You know you love it.” I said, bring my face out of his neck & looking straight into his deep blue eyes.

“Never said I didn’t.” He smiled, tightening his grip around me. “Do you know you look like a raccoon?”

I gave the back of his neck a slap, making him laugh.

“Ow.” He said, sarcastically.

“I’m not a raccoon!” I said, pouting. He pressed his forehead to mine, leaving our lips only centimeters apart. He breathed in slowly, like he was trying to physically take my breath away.

“An amazingly beautiful raccoon.” He whispered. I couldn’t help but blush and feel my heart skip a couple beats.

There was a crash of thunder that made me jump in his arms. Jayce let out a low chuckle as he pulled my body closer to his, pressing our chests together. His forehead was still pressed to mine as he whispered, “I’ve got you, Allie.”
