I heard tapping and opened my eyes to see the woman from last night. I swam up lazily to her and yawned.
"Hi! We are about to open the tanks now so get ready!" She said.
I watched as a hole appeared on my glass wall. Before I even came out she came in. Tiger Lily gave me a beautiful smile before jumping on me.
"Ooh! You're so much cuter up close!" She said.
I could practically see her eyes sparkling.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Zero Kiryu." I answered.
"Ooh! I love your name!" She squealed.
She swam around in my tank and smiled. I swam to her and she giggled. Then when the humans left she changed. She had a deadly expression on and she looked like me even more.
"Sorry. They want me to be happy." She said.
We swim a bit and she glared at the rest of the mermaids to get them away.
"So...you don't like me...do you?" I asked, sadly.
"Oh? What gave you that idea? Of course I like you! You're hot and you seem to be like me!" She said, smiling a bit.
"Oh! I just thought you were putting on a act for the humans. I didn't know you actually did liked me." I said.
She swam up to me and hugged me. I hugged her back and she took my hand. She swam with me to where the cages met and glared at people. I did the same which made her start to giggle and she playfully punched me. I smiled. 'Today is going to be one hell of a day.' I thought.
