She walked with her heart in her sleeve
Trying to hide it from the thieves.
She looked for peace but only ran into war.
Her old and beaten heart breaking to a major point.
The melodies of her heartbeat
turning into a scratched CD that only stopped, giving up on the beautiful harmony.
The scars that never fade
But the memories are the worst pain.
The girl she looks in the mirror
telling her how utterly disgusted she is.
Why must they all bring her down?
When all she ever did was try and rise up her down fall.
Now those scars in her sleeves
Are a reminder of the painful memories.
