《Chapter 6》

"Hey, Sukkie"Myungsoo called for me.

"Yeah?"

"Can we talk?"

"We are talking, Myungsoo"

"No, I mean...privately"

"Oh...ok"I followed him outside, where we waited for Yoona. We both stood outside, feeling the cold breeze. Myungsoo stood there, not moving a single muscle. I was starting to think that he wasn't going to say anything so I went pass him but stopped when he spoke.

"Are you ignoring me?"Since my back was turned, I couldn't see what his expression was but it was obvious that he was worried.

"Why would you ask that?"

"I- I don't know, you look like you have been ignoring me"

"If I was, wouldn't I be at the party right now?Leaving you alone here"I stated. I heard him sigh.

"Myungsoo, why did you really brought me here?I know you something else to say"I finally turned facing him a blank expression. I crossed my arms and waited for his answer. Suddenly he smiled, he walked near me and hugged me. I started to raise my eyebrows, all confused. I honestly didn't expect him to hug me. His breath tickled my neck but I didn't pull away. He hugged me tighter.

"You'll know someday"After that, I was left here alone. I don't understand what he meant by that. Was he holding back?What did he really want to say?Ughh all of this thinking makes my head explode. Something vibrated inside my bag. I took my phone out and saw the Caller's Id. It was Jessica. I answered it.

"Yes, Jessica?"

"Miss Myung, Your father has an early meeting tomorrow and he wants you to come with him"

"What?Why?"

"I'm sorry, Miss Myung but I do not know. The meeting starts at 8:00. Your father will have a meeting with investors from other countries, they're really important people"I sighed.

"Fine, I'll go"

"Your father will deliver what you would be wearing at the meeting, it is currently at your house now"

"Ok thanks, Jessica"

"No problem, Miss Myung"I ended the call and groaned. I texted Yoona that I would be going home now since I have a meeting to attend tomorrow. She said that she'll tell Baekhyun and Taeyeon about it and I thanked her. I dialed Diego's number.

"Diego?"

"Yes, Miss Myung?"

"Could you fetch me at Mr. Byun's resort?I'm sure you know this place already right?"

"Of course, Miss Myung. I'll be there in a minute"

"Thanks"He hunged up. After a few minutes, Diego arrived. I went inside the car and Diego drove off. When we arrived at my house, I thanked Diego and told him to fetch me tomorrow for the meeting as I went inside my house. I turned on the lights and caught a sight of the clothes I would be wearing tomorrow that was covered in plastic. I brought it and went upstairs. I went inside my room, hanging it at my closet. I saw Mina sleeping peacefully in her small bed. I covered her body with a small blanket before changing into some shorts and a loose sweater that hang in my shoulder. I didn't really feel that cold. I went downstairs and decided to eat some chips while watching. I opened the TV, changing the channel until I stopped at a channel that was playing a movie. The movie was nice that I didn't notice I fell asleep.

~Next Day~

I woke up at my living room. I looked at the clock. 7:10. I widened my eyes.

Holy crap!I'm gonna be late!

I dashed into the bathroom and took a shower as fast as I can. After I was done, I wore the clothes father gave me. I heard a honk outside my house. It must be Diego. I tied my hair in a high ponytail and fixed myself. I brought my purse with me and kissed Mina's head before leaving my house. I went inside the car and to the city we go. I looked at my watch, 7:41.

"Diego, please hurry"I politely commanded him.

"Yes, Miss Myung"We we're at the city already so he drove as fast as he can. When we arrived, I thanked him and went inside the building. I went inside the room and saw some of the other investors but father wasn't there yet. I checked the time. 7:58.

Thank God. I thought I wasn't gonna make it.

I bowed at the investors and took a seat. The door opened, revealing father and Jessica and with some other business partner of his. They sat down and we proceeded.

This is gonna be a long meeting....

Another update guys!Sorry to keep you waiting, we got a lot of things to do so ya. And I might also publish another book...?Except it's a S. Coups x Reader book. But I don't know when I'll publish it and the character there will be named. And....that's all.
