*-It's a Love-Hate Relationship; Chapter Three -*
*-* October's P.O.V. *-*
I woke up and saw that Valentine was still sleeping, so I quickly changed into warm running pants, a tank top, and a My Chemical Romance hoodie, before pulling on my running shoes and grabbing my phone and headphones. Making sure I was quiet, I left my room and went to Amaya's to find her staring at her TV. "Hey Amaya?" I asked while stepping in her room.
"Yeah?" Her eyes snapped over to me as she asked that.
"Can you watch Valentine for a little bit? I'm gonna go for a run.."
"Sure, you go get rid of the extra fat, and I'll bring your boy in here." she said while motioning for me to leave her room.
"'Kay, i'll be back soon..." I plugged my headphones into my phone, and put them on before going downstairs and heading outside. Once I was out there, I started playing my music, and began running.
*-* One hour later *-*
By the time I got back to the house, I was still trying to catch my breath as I turned off my music and took off my headphones. I went up to my room and tossed my headphones onto my bed before getting clean clothes and putting them in the bathroom. After setting them on the counter, I went down to Amaya's room to find her and Valentine fast asleep. I chuckled before going back to the bathroom, and made sure the door was closed and locked behind me. Then I turned on the water and quickly stripped down before getting in and letting the hot water relax my muscles. I made the shower a quick one, and pulled on my clothes after turning off the water and drying off. After that, I went down to Amaya's room and picked up Valentine, who was looking around the room.
"I fell asleep after bringing him in here..." Amaya told me while looking up at me from her bed. "He woke up a little bit ago.."
"Thanks." I told her with a small sigh. "So what do you plan on doing when you finish school next year?"
She shrugged. "I kind of want to be an artist..."
"Why an artist?"
Without hesitation, she pulled a sketch book, slightly bigger than a medium sized one. I watched as she opened the book, and showed me a painting of a lone tree, leaves blowing softly in the breeze. Next picture was of a wolf, sitting on a cliff with a forest in the background, staring up at a full moon. Then a dock, with a young woman sitting with her feet in the water, with a boat in the background, to the right, since the dock was to the left. She kept going through the whole book, revealing more nature, animals, and a few people either by water, or by a forest. There was a few random scenes, like meadows, grain fields, mountains, and a sunset by an ocean, along with a few sketches of things like flowers, people, and buildings.
"These are amazing.." I said while looking at all of the pictures. "When did you paint all of these?"
"Thanks, and usually when i'm in here listening to music, i'll get the inspiration to paint things. The wolf hiding in the woods by the guy came from the song 'Raised by Wolves', the couple with the drugs came from 'Better Than Drugs', the rose laying on the ashes surrounded by the fire came from 'Beautiful Remains, and the angel sitting on the swings came from 'Fallen Angels." she told me while going to each picture as she explained it. "I always right what song it comes from, or why I drew it, plus the date on the other side of the picture. Lots of these pictures just came from random thoughts that popped up out of the blue."
"They're really good. You should show the art teacher these, and i'm sure she can help you get into a good college for artists."
"You really think she'd do that?"
