"Home Sweet Home" I just Utter. It's been two years when i left my country. And finally, I'm Back.
Meeting with the Boss. 10 am Philippines Time. My phone catches my attention it vibrate and reminded me of my appointment.
I ride a private car of the company where I will apply. Actually final interview na lang =) I feel so nervous.
"Miss, Andito na po tayo." Said by the driver and wakes me up as well.
"Okay, Thanks!" I said. I fix myself first before leaving the car.
I went straight to the office of the Boss. And I can't help it but I'm nervous. Oh gosh. Ngayon ko lang naramdaman to. Geez!
"Please take a seat" Said by the secretary of the boss. "He will be here after a minute" She added.
I keep myself looking fresh. And suddenly a familiar voice catch my attention.
"Ms. Callagan?" Said he. I turn my back to give a gaze on Him.
"I am Chester Faulkerson, The Dean of College of Arts and Letters. Please let me know if you're ready." He stated. Sinasabi ko na nga ba eh.
"Yes, Of course I am. Lalo na ngayon" Unexpectedly I uttered. He just give a smile.
"It say's that you work in a famous News Channel in London, This will be a formalization. I trust your expertise on handling different subjects of Mass Communication here in our Campus." He stated. Wait, am I paying attention? Parang natahimik ang mundo ko. S'ya lang nakikita ko. Oh no.
"Ms. Callagan? Ms. Callagan? Are you alright?" He ask
"Yeah, Yeah I am."
"That will be all. You can observe classes today and you can start soonest as you can" He offer his hand afterward.
"Ah Sir?" I ask
"Yes?" He said. My question interrupted when a child enters and call him Daddy. Itatanong ko palang May sagot na agad.
"Nothing Sir. Have a good day" I just simply say.
"Wait! Chezka!" My hearts jumps when I hear him utter my name. "This Boy is not my son. It's Airis'. She died delivering this little angel and his husband is a bullshit. So I need to keep this young man." He said And I see his eyes. Filled with tears. "That means I waited for you. And finally you're here. I keep everything as a secret for you to be feel comfortable" He added
"Ikaw mahal mo pa ba ako?" He asks
"Hindi." I said plainly
"Kaya ka ba bumalik dito?" He asks
"Pano ko naman Mamahalin ang Taong Hindi ko naman tinigilang Mahalin! Of course Faulkerson! I love you! Walang nagbago!" i said to him
"Kinabahan ako dun ah! Charles meet your Mommy, Chezka." He introduce me in that Little Guy.
He hugs me. Oh I miss his warm hug. And it get even tighter. And kiss me on my forehead. And said "Kompleto nako ngayon" He loosen his hug and I lift Charles and Kisses him on cheeks.
