The Inspiration Project is not a very complex competition, in essence. The competition consists of several steps, the first step of which is to collect inspiration.
Every competitor is to supply a sample of inspiration. The inspiration can be a story on the community or outside the community, a quote, a picture, a word, a song - any thing that may inspire a person. The competitor will not use his/her own sample of inspiration; he/she provides that inspiration for the next participant and claims the previous sample for him/herself. To provide inspiration, simply comment with a link or write the inspiration down in quotation marks. [THIS BOOK IS NOT TO BE COMMENTED ON WITH SAMPLE INSPIRATION. The next step of the competition consists of the writing of entries. During this period, participants are to, essentially, compose their entries and submit them. Judges will wait until ten entires have been submitted, and then close the round to begin judging. To submit your entry, comment on the submission page of the Round Book containing the round you are participating in. Your comment should include the link to your entry and the form of inspiration you used. [THIS BOOK IS NOT TO BE COMMENTED ON WITH ENTRIES. The final step of the competition consists of judging. In this stage of the competition, judges will be reading the ten entries and choosing one favorite each. When the three top picks have been submitted to the Head Judge, she will decide what the ultimate winner of the round is. Judges will update the Winners Page of the Round Book. This page will also have the other finalists momentarily, until the ultimate Winner has been decided. Participants will receive a message on their message boards with a notification if they have been deemed one of the top three, and if they are chosen as the winner. When the winner has been decided, the round will be closed and another round will begin, thus reengaging the cycle.
