The Infatuation.

Walking in through the doors of Richmond High School, I honestly felt like shit. School meant another year of hell and hate and waking up at 6 in the morning. But it also meant another chance of making my mark in high school. Of all the years I was in this school (practically since the start) I had never actually made my mark anywhere....whereas girls like Helen Campbell were basically leaving a scent of a weird as fuck strawberry everywhere she went I thought as she entered the classroom. 

It was English lit now and then the next two periods were Chemistry practicals which were basically my two favourite periods. As i got into my seat at the back corner of the class,  Bianca came right in and sat in front of me. I'd known Bianca from the beginning of my birth. Well it felt like that at least. She was my best friend, my sister, my soul mate. She was the person who'd ever spent an entire week in my house. Helen Campbell and her group of wannabe sluts all took up the middle row as she made a newbie get up from his chair so that she could sit there. Josh and the jocks walked in as well. We all knew that all of them were hooking up with each other. It was literally that obvious because as soon as Josh walked in he went straight to Helen and made a porn movie right there. 

Then our sir Mr.Goesinyou (Yes Mr.GOESINYOU!) walked in with a boy who I'd never seen before. Maybe he was a newbie too. I really didn't take much notice of him as Bianca was talking about this Green Day concert that was happening in Richmond and how we all were going for it unless we died. I looked up and he was sitting next to me. Throughout the entire period Mr.Goesinyou went on talking about Shakespeare and how he wrote and some bullshit....I wasn't really paying attention and when the bell rang for second period i was more than relieved. "Hey I'll catch you later. I've got Biology next." She said giving me a quick hug. "Bye Bia, hell yes to the concert!" I said as she walked away and turned and gave me a smile. 

I walked  to my locker and got out my chemistry books. Once that was done i walked up to the chemistry lab and I was early. That's when the boy I'd seen in English said "Umm...Hey. I'm Luke" he said. "Hi...Jenna." I said to him, shaking his hand. And then there was that obvious awkwardness. I took out my phone and saw that there were two messages from Seth. Seth was my older brother. He went to Berklee University in California but he was on a break for now. He was honestly pretty cool and being my big brother a bit annoying....wait hold the bit! Anyway once everyone started getting in to class our sir walked in and then introduced Luke to the class. Well I mean i already knew him. He had the same brown eyes and almost blondish hair. The classic popular material. He eventually became my lab partner and actually was really fun. We kinda got to know each other and I didn't know why I wanted to but all I wanted to do was spend more time with him. 

"So I heard you and your friend talking about the Green Day concert." He said "Well you were eavesdropping?" I asked him. "Oh god no...I mean..." Luke said . "Haha, I mean yeah I guess so" I said. "Cool....are you into them?" I asked him. "Yeah, very much! also Bastille and The script." He said to me. "Oh my god. Me too! I love them!" I said to him. But we started making a bit too much noise and the sir told us to either keep quiet or leave the class. We stood there smiling at each other as we now had something to talk about. In a while i was happy to be talking to someone except Bia. I mean I loved her but I needed someone else to talk to. When that bell rang for lunch I knew who I was gonna be sitting with.
