chap. 5

Luna's P.O.V.

It was early in the morning, too early for me but Wink kept wagging his big tail in my face to take him out. So I grabbed a cup of coffee, changed and went for a morning jog with Wink. I looked across the yard to make sure Dallas wasn't nearby and started my jog. Last night was too weird for me and Chloe decided to go home instead for staying the night so luckily I had no one to watch over.
We ran over to the dog park and I released Wink so that I can just go up in the tree that I saw when I came here with Dallas. I watched Wink run for awhile then started to read a book and sip my coffee.

Dallas' P.O.V.

I didn't sleep last night I was too busy trying to figure out how to get Luna's trust and after many hours I finally knew what to do. I saw her get up this morning, Wink was slapping her with his tail, I saw her get ready to exercise, she wore thicker clothes than usual most likely because it is dead cold here. I saw that she was going to the park with Wink so I got Rex and took the short cut to the park.
She hasn't reached yet so I let Rex off and climbed high into the tree, then she came Rex saw his friend and went to play as Luna came over to the tree. I tried to conceal myself, I didn't want her to know I was here yet. I waited till she was comfortable before I made my decent down towards her. I sat beside her but she was too into her book to notice me, so I just casually put my arm over her. She froze as her head jolted up. Her eyes said she was scared but when she noticed it was me her emotion changed to embarrassment.
"Its okay princess, I just came to lime."
"W-why are you here? I checked to make sure you weren't nearby before I came"
"I came to let Rex run" pointing to the two dogs playing "Anyways it looks like the rain will be getting harder I think its time to back home." I jumped out the tree helping Luna down as she still processed what just happened. I called over Wink and Rex to leash them up. I then handed Luna Wink as I put my arm over her while walking Rex myself.

Luna's P.O.V.

'Was he was here the whole time? Did he know I was here? What's the real reason he's here?' these questions and many more repeated in my head and Dallas, the dogs and I headed home. We eventually got home but as I was opening my door he said something.
"Do you want to come over for in lil while?"
I froze what should I say? "um yeah okay"
He smiled and helped me open the door before saying bye.
I left Wink to eat and get water as I plopped down on the couch scaring little Nova. She yowled and jumped back up purring for attention or food idk I don't speak cat. I got her food and combed her fur before heading up to go get ready to go by Dallas. I showered my sweaty self and changed into a cute pikachu onesie.
"You're coming over in that?"
I jumped at Dallas watching me from his window.
"Yes, cause I like it"
"Well its cute but at least bring change of clothes if were going out"
"Fine." I huffed packing some clothes. I climbed over to his room to see he wasn't in there, I shrugged and decided to just sit on his desk chair.
He soon came back but to my dissmay he was only wearing pants.
"Dude put a shirt on!"
"Why I know you like it better this way." he smirked
"nooo its cold and you're gonna get sick so put a damn shirt on!"
"Whatever," he slipped on a shirt "better?"
"Yes, much"
"Okay well let's go downstairs now"
We walked down stairs to be greeted by West and a large TV where Dallas went to put on a movie. West put some popcorn too cook as I sat on the couch far from Dallas. West sat on the recliner and Dallas sat on the other side of the couch.
"So what are we watching?"
"Its a surprise, West you can't watch this movie go upstairs now." he said harshly
West shook his head, gave Dallas the popcorn and left. Then the movie started, 'The Evil Dead' the screen played.
"R-really this b-bloody movie?!" I stuttered
"Yes , why is the princess scared?"
"N-no"
"Then you're okay with it! Now shush."He started eating the popcorn.

-QUATER WAY THROUGH-

I was now right next to Dallas because this movie was teriffying and he was scared so I went to comfort him not the other way around. He still had the popcorn and I wanted some so I needed a way to get it. I had my pillow lying on his lap with my head atop it.
"Psst Dallas give me some popcorn."
"No. mine."
This went on for awhile when I eventually got the bowl it was all done. That bastard ate all of the popcorn. I got fed up with him and put the bowl on his head as I turned to the TV.
"Luna." he whispered bending over.
"What." I growled turning my head to become face yo face with him.
"Do you wanna go to Starbucks?"
"Oooooh yes!" my face brightened
"Cool let's go."
I went to get changed then we left to Starbucks. We went on the bike and rode down to the nearest Starbucks. We got our drinks and I got a salad cause he ate all the popcorn and I haven't eaten yet for the day then sat down at a table by the window. It was like a coffee date I guess but I would rather not call it a date.

Dallas' P.O.V.

I smiled at her as she drunk her coffee, it looked like a picture perfect moment, with her cute self highlighted by the lights hanging above her. It was late now, the moon was out and it was dark but her face was as bright as ever.
"Stay there." I took out my phone and put it con camera, even with a phone camera she looked beautiful. She smiled while sipping her coffee showing off her small lip ring. I snapped the picture and saved it.
"Okay that was a little weird but let me do it back to you." she giggled taking a picture of me having my coffee. We eventually finished our drinks and as she went to clean up I quickly took a picture of our cups, hers' said 'a hard heart to catch' and mine said 'a persistent hunter' it was perfect.
