In the morning, Steffi was awoken by a knock on the door. It was Smudo. "Hey Sam- Steffi? What are you doing here?"
"Samu needed comforting," Steffi explained.
"Why? Is he okay?"
"His girlfriend broke up with him last night. He's quite fragile at the moment, he took it really hard but I think he'll be fine soon. He's still asleep so be quiet." Steffi whispered.
"Vivianne came to the launch party last night? I didn't see her."
"No, no she broke up with him over the phone."
"Where did you sleep?" Smudo questioned.
"On the sofa. I swear it's hurt my back."
"Ah, okay well I came to tell Samu that he's got the day off today, but I'll tell the producers you're feeling a little ill and you're taking the day off too. That way you can look after him."
"Thanks Smudo. Can you do me a favour?"
"Yeah, what?"
"Please don't mention this to anyone else."
"I won't. I swear."
It was only 9 AM so Steffi wrote a note to Samu saying "Gone to get some fresh clothes, won't be long. Steffi xx."
Her room wasn't too far away from Samu's so the trip didn't take long. She got in, changed out of last night's clothes, put on a t-shirt and a pair of leggings, brushed her teeth, freshened and applied her makeup, and ate some cereal.
Before going back to Samu, she ran down to the shop in hotel and bought as much ice-cream and chocolate as she could possibly find. In the end, Steffi decided not to let Samu have any alcohol because it would probably just make things worse.
When Steffi got back, Samu was still in bed. She went to wake him up when she realised he was already awake. She could hear him trying to psych himself up and kept clearing his throat. "Come on Samu. Don't dwell on her. It upsets so many people around you when you're upset. I went and got chocolate and ice-cream, we've both got the day off work so I thought we can spend it cheering you up!" Steffi said giggling, with a wink. Samu couldn't help smiling back at her.
Steffi tried her hardest to cheer Samu up but she knew his break up had hit him really hard. "Listen, if a girl finishes with you over the phone she isn't a real girl. And you deserve a real girl, you're amazing Samu and I think that sometimes you don't see it. I know you loved Vivianne but you can do much better. Don't let this tear you apart. I miss your charms and jokes, Samu."
"Thank you." Samu smiled.
The two spent the day fooling around and watching movies.
"Let's watch Dirty Dancing!" Steffi suggested.
"Do we have to?" Samu moaned.
"Yes, so stop complaining."
Steffi and Samu sat together on the sofa and watched the film. As it came to the end of the movie, "I've had the time of my life" came on and Steffi's eyes lit up. "Let's do that lift!" Steffi said whilst pointing to the screen.
"Really? I don't think this is a good idea." Samu said.
"Sure it is. Come on, please."
But Samu couldn't resist saying yes.
"3... 2... 1..." and Steffi jumped.
Samu put his hands out and tried his hardest to lift Steffi over his head. However, he only managed to hold her for a few seconds so this resulted with him dropping Steffi and she landed on top of him.
"Ouch." Steffi groaned. "You would think with those muscles of yours that you'd have some upper body strength but you have the upper body strength of a child."
"You're not the one with someone on top of them."
Just then Steffi sat up, turned her head and both of their eyes locked. Both lost in each other's eyes.
