a day at the lake

JESSICAS P.O.V

everyone was ready so I went into the bathroom to get changed into my bikini. my bikini was a navy halter neck with white spots. I put a long white t-shirt over my bikini, put my favourite ray-bans on, I took a towel and was still wearing my white beanie.

when we got to the small pier, we took the small yacht that was parked beside it. niall told me that the house, the boat and everything else on the premises belonged to his parents. nialls family only use it in winter, so the boys come on their summer break. "take that damn beanie off!" Hayley shouted snatching at my hat. "no, i never take it off" i replied. "I've never seen you with that off" harry said."I'm not taking it off for anyone" I said folding my arms. in a split second, Louis snatched it off my head and wouldn't give me it back. we went a small drive out on the lake. liam was driving the boat. we stopped for a while to go for a swim. everyone jumped in but me, niall was going to go in but he wouldn't without me. I refused to go in. he picked me up and put me over his shoulder. "are you going to jump in yourself or do I have to throw you in?" he asked me, trying to be serious. "you'll have to make me" I replied. "fine" he said while taking me off his shoulder and carrying me in his arms bridal style. he jumped in with me in his arms. "niall!" I shouted while splashing him with water. "that's what you get!" he said splashing me back.

it was a great day. when the sun started to go down everyone was back on land. we sat outside on the grass, just watching the sun go down. when it got dark, we sat around a fire beside the lake. niall ran inside and came back out with his guitar. I didn't know he could play guitar. as time went on I found out that niall, Louis, liam, harry and zayn are one direction. I've heard their songs on the radio before and I think they're great. niall started playing little things while the boys sang. I've heard the sing on the radio and its amazing. niall looked at me while he sang his solo. he is the best singer I've ever heard. his voice is perfect. for the rest of the night we just sang some songs and talked. "who wants to play truth or dare?" liam asked. everyone agreed.

"truth or dare, harry?" Hayley asked harry. "dare" he replied with a cheeky grin. "I dare you to... kiss Louis!!" Hayley pretty much shouted. "fine" harry replied and they kissed each other with ease. not quite the reaction I expected. "truth or dare, liam?" harry asked. " truth" he replied. "you're such a pussy ! you never choose dare, it's always truth!" zayn exclaimed. "some of the dares you give each other are irresponsible and stupid. I'd rather not" liam replied. "okay, what's the most perverted thing someone has tweeted you?" harry asked him. "last week am 11 year old tweeted asking me how long my penis is, that was weird." liam said awkwardly. we just laughed. then liam said "jess, truth or dare?". "truth please" I asked, a bit scared of what they were going to ask. "do you have a crush on niall?" liam asked. me and niall looked at each other, I looked back at liam. "yes" was all I managed to spit out. niall smiled at me, he is so cute. "niall, truth or dare" Louis shouted. what's with him and shouting? "dare" he said with a devilish smirk. "I dare you to kiss jess" Louis said. I looked into nialls blue eyes, he closed them, leaned in and we kissed. i put my arms around his neck and he put his hands on my waist. it was amazing and I'm not gonna lie, that was my first kiss. once we pulled away, niall took my hand and looked into my eyes. "I know I've only known you for a couple of days, but I've wanted to ask you this since we first met. jess, will you be my girlfriend?" niall asked me. I can't believe the words came out of his mouth. "of course I will" I said softly. we kissed again. we all carried on the game. one by one everyone went inside. it was just me and niall. we talked for what felt like forever. it got really late so we went inside too.

I got changed into my favourite onsie. it's got the american flag on it. I climbed into bed and just sat on my phone until niall was changed. he came out the bathroom and all he was wearing was shorts. man, that six pack. he is so hot. and not to mention my boyfriend. I've only known him for a couple of days and I'm already in love.

NIALLS P.O.V

I did it. I asked her. I'm so glad I did though. we were lying in bed talking, but jess fell asleep, in my arms. she had her head on my shoulder and her hand on my chest. she looks so cute when she sleeps. this summer is going to be perfect.
