“What's wrong with this picture?” Katrina asked her sisters from another mother while her blue eyes gazed up to the blue sky lying above them in all its glory. Her blonde, curly hair laid gently upon the short, green grass on the campus field.
“What do you mean? There isn’t a picture here to judge.” Amy the brainy-act with flowing, brown hair questioned in confusion. Her eyebrows scrunched up as she looked over to her blonde headed bestie.
“She means our picture smart ass.” Meghan interjected. Her fingers ran through her hair messily, her emerald orbs smiled at Amy as did her lips. Amy just stuck her tongue out at Meghan, childishly. No matter how old Amy was, she will always be a kid at heart. She was smart, but the most kidish one out of all the girls.
“Is it me or are we missing out on some college fun? I mean, where is the party? The drinking? Getting wasted to no end? Breaking all the rules? The hot guys? Where is it all?” Heather the adorable red head inquired. It was the last break before the girls had their final term in college, then it was graduation, finding a decent guy, marriage, kids and all that other fun stuff.
“That's what I mean. What's wrong with our picture?” Katrina repeated placing her hands behind her head for more comfort on the grassy ground. “We have two weeks off, why not spend it somewhere? Somewhere tropical.” Katrina continued.
“My cousin went to Cancun last year and they told me it was amazing there. Why not spend it there? Plus, there is a variety of nice hotels, beaches and of course beach hotties.” Heather suggested getting all giddy with excitement.
“Perv.” Amy muttered.
“Just because you have a boyfriend doesn’t mean your eyes aren’t going to keep off of the beach studs. You’re a hormonal girl for crying out loud.” Meghan stated; she knew Amy loved to look around, but she also knew once she loved someone deeply, they will forever remain in her heart till death.
“Do not!” Amy bellowed defensively. “Just to be more real, with the plane fare and hotel room cost, we are going to need a lot of money. And to narrow it down even more, all our savings could only get us one night in a hotel. I don't know about you guys, but I'm not hitch hiking to Cancun, nor staying stranded out on the road. Have fun getting molested by hobo's.”
Just as Amy finished her reality check rant, Katrina smirked. She already had a devilish plan forming in her head. It was risky, but if they could pull it off, it could really get them to Cancun. Pretty face, but devilish thoughts.
“Someone has a plan.” Meghan grinned knowing Katrina had a full out plan that was going to get them a dream vacation together.
After heading over to Heather's dorm, they all waited impatiently. What was this plan and why did it already seem so mischievous?
“So……” Heather trailed off.
“Laws are meant to be tested. Which means breaking them. We're going to rob a diner.” Katrina blurted out. The color drained from Amy's face. She was never the one to break the rules. She was told to be good, get the grades, listen to your elders and be a decent person. Typical good girl. Heather on the other hand seemed pretty alright with the idea.
“I think we can do-”
“What? And I flipping repeat what?” Amy exclaimed cutting off Heather.
“I know its hard to process, but come on, we can pull this off without getting caught, not to mention you will be the escape car, I'll be doing the whole robbing part.” Katrina soothed. Amy wasn’t too keen on the idea; however, she couldn’t let them go in their alone. She'll be in a car, no one will see her.
