The unknown world we live in :/

**by the way this is my first story don't comment bad things about it. It was just a story I made up I know I'm not good at writing but oh well ;)**

There was once a girl named Lucy. Her parents were divorced. One day when they were in the car arguing about Lucy, her dad didn't see the road and crashed into a tree. He was partially drunk. The next day when Lucy was recovering in the hospital the doctors gave her the sad news that her parents were dead. They didn't want to let her go home because they knew the memories she had with them in that house were going to depress her. She had no one to take are of her. She was lonely. In her school she was bullied for not having a family. Her grades were terrible. Her teachers knew what was happening. She had no friends. She was very lonely in school too. No one liked her. One day the people at school went to far in insults, she knew if she died she would be with her parents and nobody was going to miss her. On the other hand she felt that someone or something would be unsafe and in protective if she leaves this world. One day after school, she walks lonely back to her house and finds a strange looking man just staring at her. She gets scared and runs to her house; while she is trying to open the door she sees the man following her. Soon she quickly manages to open the door she gets in and locks the door shut. After a while she hears screams coming from her neighbors house. As she gets our to see what the problem is she see the same man laughing at the dead woman that laying on the ground. Lucy he's really scared and goes back to her house and tries to get some sleep thinking "Everything will be okay tomorrow is a new day something knew to deal with". As she is thinking about this and trying to fall asleep she hears a knock on the door. She is puzzled to see a girl, jasmine ,from school that didn't like Lucy. As she was opening the door she saw the same man just staring at her house she felt unprotected and pulled jasmine in to safety. Lucy asked her why she was there. Jasmine responded," my parents died there is a man following me everywhere I go and a woman died on my front porch" . Lucy, confused at the moment, told her that the same thing was happening to her. "Come on I think we have to ask the man questions , jasmine" "I dot know what if he tries to hurts us" she said "ok , fine i'll go but you stay here and watch us in the window if I like cross my fingers that means that he is not bad on ?" Umm.... Yea ok .....uhh sure " she said worriedly . As I made my way out side I saw the man in a car staring at me. As I walked closer he got out of the car and I stopped dead in my tracks, he had a gun. " hello , Lucy , such a shame your parents left you alone and unprotected. Whose your little friend in your house can I go inside to talk to you both? " the man said. " I'm sorry but I don't know you and I'm afraid you may be dangerous and kill us both" "then why did you come outside to talk to me pretty lady?" He said "well just so that you could not worry anymore I won't hurt you I was sent here to talk to you both and protect you both from something very bad ." He said " l-like what?" I said "well could I come inside to talk to you both" he said. I crossed my fingers behind my back and replied sure . As we went inside he simply told us that we had a unique powers that nobody else had. At first I was confused but then I noticed he wasn't joking . "Well then who wants us or what do they want us for ?" Jasmine asked. " what powers do we have?" I said
