Arthur was in the midst of making a nice cup of Earl Grey tea when he heard the question every introvert dreaded most.
"HEY ARTHUR!!!!! DO YOU WANT TO GO TO A PARTY WITH ME?!?!?!?" It was his boyfriend Alfred asking. Usually Arthur would do things like watch a scary movie or go to McDonalds just to please him. But this, this crossed the line on Arthurs list. You see Arthur is man that hates parties, the outdoors and people. You may be wondering why he is with a person like Alfred. Arthur actually doesn't even know the answer to that himself, there is just something about the boy that just gets his heart going.
"Arthur, hey Arthur. Dude snap out of it." Alfred then smacked on the head.
"OW! What was that for!?!"
"Dude you zoned out for like 5 minutes I needed to bring you back to earth." Alfred said with a giggle.
"Well that doesn't mean you can smack me! Now what do you want?"
"So Francis invited us to this giant New Years party that's happening at his place tonight! We should totally go!" Arthur's overly exited boyfriend told him.
"No thanks."
"Awwwwwwww why not?" Alfred whined.
"Because 1. the frog is hosting it, and 2. you know I hate big crowds and parties."
"But, it's New Years Eve! Don't you want to have some fun?"
"You and I have very different ideas of fun."
"Fine then what's your idea of fun."
Arthur thought for a second. "Curling up with a big blanket with the person I love, with a cup of tea and a Disney movie." Alfred made a face like he was thinking then walked out of the kitchen into the living room. He started pulling out blankets and pillows then looked through the movie cabinet.
"What the hell are you doing?" Arthur asked annoyed with the blankets and pillows that were now all over the floor.
"Well since you wanted to stay in tonight I thought maybe we could build a fort and watching Princess and the Frog!" Alfred said now really exited, probably because Princess and the Frog was his favorite movie.
"But I thought you wanted to go to that party."
"Ya I did want to go, but I think chilling with my boyfriend sounds even better, so go make some tea, go get the rest of the apple pie and got your ass out here and let's watch some Disney." Alfred said with a huge smile.
Arthur pulled him into a good, long kiss. "Thank you." He smiled. And they watched Disney and kissed at midnight.
