Neji's Kitten: Scarlett.

Scarlett POV~

I woke up and yawned slowly. A small mew came from my lips but i didn't take second notice of it. I sat up and looked around. It was somewhat dark and then the sky lit up with lightning. I flinched, scared and backed up a little. It started to rain and the lightning lit up the sky for a few more second. I took this small time to realize I was in a box.

There was newspaper under me and I started to panic.

'HELP!'

"Mewww~"

'Oh shit no!'

I looked down at my feet and I screamed, "MEWWWWWWW~!" I had paws. No, not gloves on my hands, but PAWS. I looked behind me and there was a small like a thick piece of string. I put my paw on it and I felt it. I had a tail.

I started to mew loudly and the rain came down harder and faster. The box start to flood and I cried as loud as I could.

There were foot steps and I looked up. There was a figure standing in front of me, "Poor thing..."

I felt harge hands pick me up and I mewed. He pulled me to his chest as lightning hit again. I mewed softly and cuddled to his chest. My fur was soaked and his hands were tangled in my maine.

When we got inside he took me into his room and sat me down on his bed. He stripped into his pajamas and then took me into the bathroom with him, "You may have just got soaked from rain, but you're still dirty." I opened my eyes widely and noticed it was Neji. Fur seeped down into my vision again and I mewed.

I heard bath water running and the bathroom got hot and steamy. He picked me up again and put me in the warm-hot water. I purred in delight as the suds washed down my back and through my fur.

He rinsed me off under the tap and then he got a hair drier. He brushed through my fur and dried it. I sat with a smile on my face until he finished. When he did a large lock of fur fell in front of my face. He chuckled.

"Stay here ok?" He asked in a baby-voice.

'As if I could go anywhere!'

"Mew."

He left with a smile on his face and I turned around to look at the large mirror next to the sink. I was a pure white with red eyes. My fur was fluffy and long. Was I a persin?

"Lemme play with him Nii-san!" I heard someone shout.

"It's a girl." Neji said back.

"C-Can I play with her??" the person asked.

I turned around to see Hinata and Neji in the doorway fighting over a long red ribbon, "Mew," came my little voice.

Hinata pushed Neji aside and ran over to me, picking me up and kissing my nose, "N-Nii-san she's so adorable! Are you g-gonna keep her?"

"Of course I am...But don't let you're father know, ok?" Neji asked tying the ribbon around my long lock of hair.

"Of course I won't! If I d-did that, he won't let us keep her. Isn't that right kitty?" She asked in a goo-goo voice.

"Mew mew." I answered back happily.

"Awwwwwe! Did you feed her Nii-san?"

"Not yet, do we have any tuna?" He asked.

"I-I think so. I'll go get it for her." Hinata said. She kissed my forehead and put me in Neji's arms before running off.

Neji took me into his room and he sat me down on the bed. He kneeled down in front of me at the edge of the bed and made a kitty face ( ie: :3 ). Inkatha ran back into his room with a ball of yarn and the tuna that was promised, I meted happily.

"You must be starving..." She said opening the can and sitting it down in front of me.

"Mew," I licked her hand as she petted me and then began to eat.

"What are we gonna name her?" Hinata asked sitting next to Neji.

"I wasn't really thinking about a name..." He answered looking over at her.

"Why not Hime? Or Star? Or Aiko? Oooooh I know, name her-"

"Scarlett." Neji interrupted. I looked up from my tuna and ran over to him, licking his face. "I suppose you like that name then?"

"Mew mew!"

"She's so kawaii!" Hinata squealed.

"Shhh! What if your father comes in here?" Neji hissed picking me up.

"Oh.. Right..." She scratched the back of her head blushing.
