"Ma! Come on. I'm sick of waiting for you." I yelled up the stairs. I'm supposed to be over at Kae's house for the BBQ an hour ago and we aint even left yet.

"I'm coming boy! Don't rush me!" My mom said walking down the stairs in a sun dress. I walked out the door and she was right behind me. I opened the car door for her and she got in. I started thinking about my blunt.

"Damn." I said walking around to get in the car. I started up the car and pulled off. I turned on the radio. Blunt blowing came on. I started rapping along to the song when my phone rang. I turned down the volume.

"Hello?"

"Nigga where you at?" Seiko yelled through the phone.

"Shut up. That's momma slow ass." I said into the phone. My mom glared at me.

"You need to hurry up and get here. Maurice talking about he not putting on these shorts until you tell him they cool."

"Tell Lil nigga he doesn't need me there for something to be cool."

"Well, uncle get your ass here!" Seiko said hanging up the phone.

"See ma. Now Maurice won't get dressed. It's your fault." I said shaking my head. I pulled up to Kae's house and parked on the curb. I got out and started walking up to the front door. I heard loud ass music in the back yard. I opened the door and there were people everywhere.

"Wiz!" Kae yelled. I looked at her. She motion for me to come with her. I followed her. We walked to Maurice room. He was sitting on top of his bed pouting.

"What's wrong Lil nigga?" I asked him.

"Mommy make me wear those." He said pointing to some shorts. I grabbed them.

"Cargo's fool. These are Icy." I said looking at him. I stood up and backed away from him. "I got Cargo's on."

"Okay. I wear them now mommy." He said taking the shorts from me and slipping them on. I looked over at Kae and she shook her head and threw up her hands.

"I don't know. I don't even want to talk about it." She said laughing.

"His uncle got swag. So he needs to be swaged out." I picked Maurice up and dapped him.

"You tripping." Kae said walking over to his closet and pulled out some van's.

"You got swag now." I said putting the shoes on Maurice.

"Come on now." Kae said grabbing Maurice from my arms. We walked out his room and went down to the living room where everyone was wilding and soon all the old people are going to be fighting over a damn card game.

Chris

"You can't just go over there unannounced." Drake said.

"I can." I said slipping on some black cargo shorts and a varsity jacket.

"You can't bro."

"Why can't I?" I asked him leaning against my desk.

"Um, because you just found out he was yours a couple of days ago. Don't show up at her damn house unannounced."

"I found the bitch. I want to see my son. If I see him than maybe I can figure out who's the mother."

"Kae's the mother now." He said rubbing his hand on his face.

"Chris, if you go. I want to go. He's my nephew." Draya said walking into the office. She looked at Drake than to me.

"Hell no! The whole damn family aint bout to go up to her crib." Drake said shaking his head.
