Chapter Six

The woman, an albino wolf looked around wondering if she would be able to get away in time. The snarls of wolves echoed around the couple before she jumped into action, wrapping a cloak around the other. Atleast this way no one would be able to see him. Tossing the small youth over her shoulder, she poked a head out before she ran the opposite way of the snarling. It had been quite awhile since she had seen him, but she was sure. This was the boy. That sweet boy that she had kept as her personal…entertainment. 

Running along the corridors, she froze as a wolf crossed her path. Tilting her head she sniffed it smelling it as her ally.

“Mercy what are you doing? We need to get out of here NOW~ More wolves are coming and they are starting to kill us off! All of us…” He managed to get out, before she paled seeing three large wolves standing behind them,snarling. The aura made her heart skip a bit..two were Alphas and one..was a beta. The middle and largest wolf was a raven silky black with a slate gray chest and tip to his chest. 

“What…are you doing with my Pet?” 

“Taking him back to where he belongs..”

Wrong Answer.

“Drop him you trash!” 

“Or you’ll do what….puppy?” 

Dominick leapt into action snapping at her legs as she jumped out of the way.

“Oooh…Puppy almost got me…Almost…” She teased jumping out of the way, not noticing the other two jump on her together, one latching on her arm the other, snatching the bundle from her arms as she cursed. 

The beta gently sat down the bundle and shifted, unwrapping him. 

“Timothy?” Immediately he shook his shoulders not caring that he was nude. The boy had seen far worse. 

“Tim! Wake up!” His cries became frantic . Dominick was immediately by his side. 

“Timmy, Wake up!” He said and bit his bottom lip before gently slapping him. 

“Ouch!” Tim squeaked holding his cheek. 

“Master that hurt! What did I do to you?!” 

A smile ran along his lips as he immediately pulled him to his chest. “Thank goodness…” 

“Um..Master..” 

“Yes…?”

“Your naked..” 

A chuckle left his lips as he released him. “So? You’ve seen me naked before..” 

“ I know but…they can see you…”

“They’ve seen me naked as well…

“B…But this time…I …well…” 

“Okay okay….I won’t tease you so much..” With that he shifted back as he snorted laughing still before turning to the squirming woman.

 “Come on Timmy jump on my back. “ He did not want him to see what they were going to do to her. Timmy happily jumped on his back as he trotted off before turning to look at the remaining two. ‘Kill her, and any other rogues in my palace.’ 

The shared twin smirks before looking at the woman . ‘At once, Alpha.’

Screams of terror radiated through the palace as the order was taken out.

“Um…Master were are we going?” 

“ Oh..just somewhere safe..Oh…how about you stay at that friend’s house of yours for awhile?” 

“Roses?! Really?! I would like that lots and lots! “

“Hold on….I will take you there. “ 

It was the best place for him..with this war going on and no shifter would go..to the den of a vampire. As he ran in the woods, he kept tabs on his wolves at home enjoying that they were carrying out his demands . They had many injured but not any deaths. As he continued to run, he kept out for any rogues but grinned as he stopped at the castle. Rena was already at the door, along with Rose who looked happy to see him. 

“I thought I smelled…wet dog…what do you know it was from a visitor..” She snorted as he stopped, Timothy happily running up to Rose as she swung him around happily.

 “Go on and take him to your room Rose….his Master and I need to talk.”

“Come on Tim! I got a new Frisbee and this one glows in the dark!” She led him up to his room as soon their giggles were heard. This left Dominick and her alone. He shifted to give her a quizzical look. 

“Glowing Frisbee?” 

“I don‘t know..something Rose is into. Much cheaper than those new technologies. Anyway why this sudden visit?  We are hardly friends and I know you are only friendly to me because our pets are friends. So..what’s wrong? “ 

“It’s the rogues…they almost kidnapped him…and I know he will be safer here. They have started a war against my pack and I fear it may turn to the vampires aswell…so I ask you this as a friend..be careful. ” 

“Darn right he will. Thanks for the warning and I will be sure things are alright..I have a sitter with Rena whom is a highly respectable assassin. We will be on our guard. Whenever things settle down…you can come again for him. I knew it was too good to be true. Be careful wet dog, I don’t want him crying over you again. “ A laugh left his lips as he looked over to him, eyes twinkling in mischief. 

“You too leech , and when things calm down Rose must come for a visit.” Turning, he shifted and disappered into the forest with one last look up at the window seeing them playing. He was safest here. When he disappered, Rena shut and locked the door.

 “Helen! Beef up security! Anther Put up the electric fences and call all the chiefs we are going to have a meeting! If those rogues even touch a grain of Vampire soil you left me know! “ She yelled before flopping into her seat. Were the rogues trying to…over run them? A snort left her as she laughed, it would be a cold day in hell before she stood by and let her Pet and her friend’s Pet be taken by Rogues.
