The Lady or The Tiger

SCENE 1

Narrator : Once upon a time there was a Kingdom where a barbaric king rules. His trial procedures are so unfair and don't give the right justice for people who committed crimes.

[Trumpet blows]

[crowds cheering]

( 1st prisoner enters the arena)

King : Prisoner 1 you are here because of the allegations against you

Prisoner 1 : I am innocent , and I'm here to prove it.

King : Your destiny lies on your decision, Pick one of the two doors !

Prisoner 1 : Which one should I Choose ? (asking the crowds)

I choose the left door your highness. (stands proud)

(prisoner walks to the door on the left)

King : Now open the door!

(Prisoner1 opens the door [squeaking door sound] then a loud Roar was heard through the doors)

(The 2nd prisoner enters the arena)

King : Prisoner 2 you are here because of the accusations against you, is it True?

Prisoner 2 : All their Accusations are true my King, I am here to face the consequences

Lady in crowd : He's sure to be eaten by the tiger because he claim that he's guilty

King : Choose your Door

Prisoner 2 : My King I Choose the door on the left,

King : Well then, open it.

( The Prisoner {shaking in fear} opens the door [ Door squeaks ] )

Princess : NO! there's a Tiger in there!

( [the Crowds Cheer happily] a Lady in white dress Came out of the Door The princess was Shocked)

King : (name) All the time you were innocent you can now claim your freedom

Wife of Prisoner 2 : (runs toward the prisoner) (name) ! I am glad that you were alive, you can come home now

Prisoner 2 : I am happy too , But we Can't be together anymore. (walks away with the bride)

(another door opens. there are dancers , singers musicians , and the wedding ceremony starts)

(Lights out)

SCENE 2

Narrator : The king had a daughter and he wants his daughter to marry someone who is as noble as they are but he didn't know that her daughter was in a relationship with some commoner in their village.

( At the Towns Garden)

(Princess and the young man walks to the garden)

Princess : how about we tell my father about our relationship?

Young man : are you sure about that?

Princess : yes I am, I love you and you're the one I want to marry.

Young man : But what if he doesn't like me?

Princess : why wouldn't he? you're industrious , kind , a very responsible gentleman, what would be his reason for him not liking you ?
