Something About Love

She stood there looking into the mirror. What she say was the face of a beauty but the body of a fighter. Amber was the daughter of the mighty Optimus Prime and the beautiful Arcee.

Amber was born at the beginning of the great war for her home planet Cybertron. the war was against the autobots. lead by her father, and the decepticons, lead by the evil Megatron. Amber wanted desperately to fight in the war by her father's and mother's side, but they wouldn't let her. she understood why, after all she was their only child, but sometimes she thought they were over protective.

She walked out of her quarters and down the hall to her father's study. When she entered the room she saw her father, mother and Ultra Magnus, her father's second in command. Her father looked up from his datapad to see his daughter standing in the doorway. "hello darling" he said with a warm smile on his face plate.

Arcee and Ultra Magnus also looked up and greeted her with a smile. Ultra Magnus walked over to her and kissed her hand. She was well aware that he had feelings for her but she didn't feel the same for him. "Good morning" he said looking up into her optics. She gave him a half smile and walked passed him and over to her father, "so what are you talking about, another battle coming up?" she said with a twinkle of hope in her optics. "Yes we are in fact, and don't even get any ideas about asking to come, because you know the answer will be no".

Amber looked at her mother with pleading optics. "but why not? All my friends' parents let them and why did you send me to the academy if you weren't going to let me fight?" she said as she felt rage building up in he voice. Her father stood up at the tone of her voice and said "Don't talk to your mother and I that way young lady" giving her a cold stare.

Then Ultra Magnus walked over and said "they only we t you to the academy so you would be able to protect yourself" As he spoke he reached for her hand but she pulled away and stormed out of the room. She walked out of her home and transformed into her alt form and drove off.

Amber often did this to clear her mind. She drove for hours. She wasn't paying attention to where she was going then something hit her. It was some sort of painful shock. She transformed and fell to the ground with a hard thud.

When she looked up she could barely make out the form of Knock Out, Megatron' s medic and Breakdown, his assist, and then everything went black.
